Great video, you made this look easy (great editing) Mine just slipped out of my hand (wearing cheap slippery gloves), to get the perfect up closr deer video out here in nature. $100 to repair vs doing myself and not worrying of my security being breached, or just buy another, and time to set up. I think i will attempt
i just cracked my moto G7 power screen yesterday and have been debating about trying to buy a kit on amazon and fix it myself which would be my first time attempting anything like this. idk if it would be worth it to just pay someone else to do it for me though or spend 40$ to do it myself
@@CarlosVasquez we pay $125 without warranty the store charge a lot stuff then before they repair we have to leave $20 deposit so they can order the screen and wait for 6 days...for my cell phone screen i just wait 3 days to arrive to my mail box and fix in half hour
@@CarlosVasquez There was one problem... Wrong screwdriver size haha, I had too small or too big so I bought a fix kit and finally the T5 was correct size ;)
Oh, and one more, namely my battery was so hard to pull out and I partly broke it because battery was soft, it works but I feel the capacity is less now.
However, the replacement cost me 130 złoty(about 34$), ONLY, because if I do it in shop, I must pay 100% more (68$), and wait 2 weeks for it so home replacement is very very worth ;) I recommend that so much
Yes, I have 3m tape that I used on the screen. The battery did not need any glue, already had it on. The back cover I also used some 3m tape. I bought the tape in two sizes 2mm and 3mm. Both purchased from Amazon. Have you started the process yet?
@@CarlosVasquez yes I've taken apart the phone.i found the battery the worst part of the disassembly.i am now waiting for all the parts to arrive in the post
I going to pay $100 for the replacement screen expensive "job" now i make the order for another cell in my family i want to fix by myself because i was waiting a week for the part arrive to the store where the cell phone repair tomorrow...so spend around 3 days for my order new screen online so i can fix later thanks to share the video
Already repair my cell phone i had trouble with the battery was so stick on the back but my husband take apart now i have a new screen by my self i just pay the screen cost $23 mine is a LG xcharger M-327 for my son cell phone(Motorola G7 power) wasted $125 and spend 2 and half hours waiting in the store😞
I bought an Otter box case for my motorola g7 power and it is awesome protection. My phone landed in the middle of the road and got run over several times, smashing the screen, but the phone still works. We found it by calling the number and following the ring sound. Why dis the Motorola phones. They are cheap, work well, bright screen and don't cost $1k+. If you destroy it, just buy another one. Verizon always has sales for around $150.
Oh boy...that's not good. Since they are cheap on ebay, I would suggest getting a used one to replace it. Same carrier..so you don't have any issues. Too expensive to try an fix..cheaper to get another one.
*me looking at description* ... heat gun is prefered but hairdryer is good. *attempts to unseat battery with sesamo and some hairdryer action* *gets frustrated the hair dryer sucks* *Punctures lithium battery* *throws phone* ok... so time to buy a heat gun :') and maybe learn some patience. lol
@@anarchoboof9429 Oh no! That sucks! Yah you need a heat gun, the hair dryer not hot enough to get the glue soft. Also the battery is very difficult to get free...glue is super strong. "throws phone" that so true!
@@CarlosVasquez I legit just looked at my phone, forgot the plastic bezel thing needed to stay on, and proceeded to tuck it in my drawer and go buy a pixel 3 hahaha. It happens. I learned one thing: never getting a motorola again. Hadn't seen that much glue since that time I made a house out of Popsicle sticks.

What happens if we were taking out the battery, and I saw some spark? Is it something bad? What can I do?

Cameron, How much do they charge at the store to replace it?
@@CarlosVasquez the last time i got a screen replaced (on an iPhone 6) was last year and it cost around 90$
@@cameronpage9064 If it is only 90 dollars, have them do it. That way you also get a warranty usually.
