Love this! It's so good for people new to the goth scene to feel comfortable being creative and experimenting and not worrying about having to buy lots of things! (~Ku)
I’ve got expensive well made clothes, shoes and jewellery I’ve literally had for decades! But not a lot of them! Invest in some good staples and much of the rest you can thrift or make, like Jane has. It doesn’t have to cost you a mint to be Goth. The thing you have to remember is, if you think you’re maybe going in with a little too much black….add some more black….and then…add a bit more black. 🖤🕸️🕷️🖤🕸️🕷️🖤🕸️🕷️🖤🕸️😈
I recently saw a jewelry project kit for sale on Amazon that included paper beads and I thought oh I can make those if I watch a Jane Wilkes video. The beads you made are far prettier too.
You look lovely Jane. Love the head piece. I'm not a crafty person but watching this, it just goes to show what can be done on the tightest of budgets! I think i'll have a go at making myself a choker. I have lots of nail polish & stuff lying around in my old makeup bag, even lace i took off an old top. So i think i'll try making the paper ones first, then seeing if i can stick black lace on over the top, probably with nail varnish. Sounds like a plan for the weekend. I wonder if i could just thread them onto a velvet ribbon & tie in a bow around my neck? 🤔 Lovely to watch you as always Jane. Takecare & Stay Strange 🧛🏻♀️🖤
Hello and thank you for watching and for chatting. I think a choker sounds marvellous and you can add odds and ends whenever you come across them!! 🖤🖤💜💜🖤🖤
Really great idea Jane. As I always says, only fantasy is the limit of creativity. Will share this video on my community tab.... Those ones should look great as hair decoration too. Stay safe and strange Lovely Lady Jane 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
This is genius. I was going to buy some beads for some pendants I made, but now I'm going to do this instead! The necklaces will be even more fabulous. 🖤
@@purplejanew It may take some time, I have to go in for surgery soon, and some rehab. But I won't forget because it will fit perfectly with my project.
@@sharimeline3077 Oh please accept my warmest wishes for your recovery. I have some book recommendations in a couple of videos on this channel if you want some?
My crafty Jane, tfs your lovely creativity! I have no patience so you won’t find me doing this😂. Just recalled, might have a fun crafty book for you… if I can find it! Much love! Jet 🧡🎸🎶⚡️🦋🏍
These are so cute! What a great idea! And of course, everybody’s will be totally unique!! 🥰 I’ve spent the last few days repairing my partly collapsed stone garden retaining wall, so I ache in every place apart from my teeth, I think. This will be a nice gentle craft to occupy my aching bones now I’ve finished the wall!! I’ve got lots of old gardening mags, I think I’ll try a pretty flower one. I have lots of black strong string. Where do you usually get your jewellery wire from. Can you get it off t’interweb…? 🖤🕷️🕸️🖤🕷️🕸️🖤🕷️🕸️🖤🕷️🕸️
It does sound like you could do with a rest! I get my wire from thebeadstore.co.uk/ but I'm sure that Amazon would supply it as well, I just like to help a small business where I can and this is a good one!
Excelente idea😊🖤👌
Thank you; I hope you will try it?
Good idea Jane, I was thinking about doing a rosary for the gods ❤ I will do 😊
Do let me know how you get on?

@@LouciferFlump Cannot agree more with all of this!! Especially the last bit 🤣🤣
@@purplejanew Totally! I think this is really accessible
@@LouciferFlump Exactly!! A few statement pieces and lots of black goes a long way!!
Love the necklace with the amber beads and music paper
Thank you very much!

Thank you! You can indeed!
Yay! 😊
The aged and distressed ones are my favorite. I know it would take ages but they would make a really nice beaded curtain for a library room~
That would take forever! Thanks for watching Jason x
Sounds like a perfect project to do in front of the TV of an evening.... for a year or so xD!!
I love this idea!
Thanks Brittany!! I hope you have a go? xxxxx
