Just got my 5 Star a few days ago and wanted to point out how helpful this video was. Only needed to adjust my brakes and I was ready to go. Good job on an awesome bike!

thanks for the tip about the display being loose - I thought I was the only one that had those reasons?
my other ebike assembly instructions lacked that tip they tighten them.
I thought I must be goofy as I learned it as Ive been riding n futzing with these a little bit.
I LIKE that blue color! and see that I want/need one of these,
but I keep reminding myself to wait for the step thru version as I learned that to be my favorite style for this ole boy [im 63 lol] my friends still call me a youngster. although the boys I taught are now married with children?

I picked up my 5 Star yesterday and I love it. I have a friend that brought their $10,000 dollar Specialized downhill bike over and were pissed they spent that much after they road my Ecell 5-star. Is there a detailed video that walks you through settings up all the different power adjustments in the control panel?
This bike is now at the top of bikes that I am considering
wish i new about the e-cells 5 star last october could have saved almost 500$ i could have upgraded parts with that money instead of nothing,.plus took 4 months to get my bike. WF

When you put the battery in does it automatically lock?
Is there a torque setting for the front tire? I don’t want to over tighten but I also don’t want to under tighten. Thanks!
Where does the optional second battery go? Does the second battery come with a wire harness? How is it installed?
It doesn't. The second battery needs to come with it. You need to order the package, that adds $500 + the $300 tariff (LOL)
How do u set the display to show motor temp?
Can i have a front basket and the big headlight at the sametime?

Had a question, if get the dual star option with dual batteries, does it come with 2 better chargers to charge the second battery ? Or just one charger for both batteries ?
It comes with two chargers. They are identical so you can charge either battery with either charger.
Can you say what the seatpost diameter is?
Ordering this Five Star soon...Is this the 17" or 19" inch frame in the video?
The bike shown in the video is 17"
When this bike was reviewed on Trail Happy the bike he had had a quick release on the front wheel, this one does not. Is the quick release only on upgraded forks??
Just got mine today (standard fork) and it has the quick release. Still trying to put mine together. This vid does not have instructions for that.

I rcvd my 5 star today and it DOES NOT have the quick release.
I have had this Ebike for four years motor control went bad company sent me a new one I bought an extra one because that is it’s Achilles heel I replace it and I am back on the road 🤓

That's a good question. I was wondering the same thing. I don't see the basket mentioned anymore on the ecells web site.

I am 240 lb 5ft 11in disabled veteran wanting to get some exercise and lose some weight will this bike hold up to someone my size and last for a long time
Most definitely I'm 5 11 Fenway about 2:10 Lee's bikes are huge the handlebars come up to my chest they're over 6 ft long please bikes are a beast I was surprised when I opened it up and got it put together extremely large bike when I got the 17 inch frame you definitely don't need the 19-inch frame what does see all the way down I can touch flat-footed start removing the seat up a little bit it's hard to touch but it will definitely hold you
Good video! But make sure your helmet strap is fully and securely connected before riding!
(I know Gator did that for effect, but some newbies may copy whatever they see done)

@@ChristinaMarquez4homes I'm supporting whoever has the best product. Whether they are a veteran or not doesn't matter to me. Whether it is "American" made or not doesn't matter to me. Just because it is made by a veteran in America doesn't mean it is better quality. You support who you want and I'll support who I want. I would appreciate you not pushing who I should support on me. I mean they've already found flaws in the 5 star. The rear suspension hits the battery which they said they are fixing but they said they aren't fixing the cable that rubs on the rear suspension linkage because "all their other bikes are made the same with no problem". If people noticed it and are complaining about it, it's a problem. On top of that you only get like 25 miles on that battery. If that.
I like your philosophy of continuous improvement, kind of like how Tesla continually makes small improvements without waiting for the next model year.
Don't forget to wear gloves, those Box Staples are no joke.......lol

All the bikes should be upgraded to 60V. 😉
WHERE THE FREE BASKET? I DIDN'T GET ONE AND NO ONE TOLD ME THEY WOULD BE SHIPPED A WEEK OR TWO LATER REALLY MESSED ME UP. TOOK TO BIKE SHOP TO ASSEMBLE AND PUT A KOLPIN BOW HOLDER ON FRONT BASKET, NO BASKET!!

Yes comes with nice tool kit bag and includes patch kit.

As far as why he said what he said you will need to ask him. Maybe he was saying the size tools you only needed. Even though I have the tool bag I used my own tools. The tools that come in the kit aren’t fancy but good to have in emergency while out riding.
