My sister (who is 24 now) also got PANDAS around 5th grade! For her it was mostly motor tics (stretching the neck and jaw and eyes compulsively) and frequent urination. Such an odd disease and it can be so hard to detect! I'm glad both of y'all got diagnosed and that you're doing better now

My son is started having symptoms over time... I only just found out what PANDAS is... I do not have a diagnosis for my son yet but your video made me have goosebumps... tomorrow I will have to convince my son’s doctor to be on board to rule in/out PANDAS...it is not well known in UK and getting treatment privately is extremely expensive. But watching you encouraged me that things will be ok

I have PANDAS right now, I make involuntary movements... my parents had no idea what it was. Now we do! I am super confused though... most people with PANDAS get OCD and anxiety. I don’t really get that, I get tics. Bad tics. I just found out yesterday. 😅

@@iosmodtester7403 With which one? For POTS and MCAS my cousin has it too so I knew when I was having all the symptoms it was that so they just did bloodwork and the tilt table test and then for PANS they did a lot of bloodwork and I got to see a specialist for P.A.N.S. and they diagnosed me with it.

I have OCD and one thing I noticed is that one of my eyes gets covered alot with my hair just like how your hair is. I feel like the anxiety and ocd have contributed to that. Feels like my hair is a shield I guess. Hides me from others when I get shy. And because of this I have noticed that the one that usually covered by hair looks wider than the one that gets more sun. Please let me know if you relate :)

Find a nearest PANDAS/PANS doctor and schedule an appointment with him/her that’s what we did and usually they’ll draw blood to see if you have a history of strep to see if it’s pandas or pans
