The new hairstyle is a double win in my books :) Finally some long(er) hair! Its been a while. Not really a fan of the new outfits (I'm not into the whole modern aestetics and the fall guys suit, while cute, is an eye sore ^^°), but the wristbands of the new Criterion looks really neat :)
I kinda love the slow introduction of modern aesthetic glams. I honestly wish they would lean into that idea and slowly introduce steadily more bits of modernized architecture in the main hub cities as well, even if it's just visual elements and not something you interact with. It makes it feel like actual time is progressing and the games various cultures are shifting in the world instead of trapping everything in a permanently frozen amber with the generic-faux-medieval-fantasy aesthetic.

Yeah, no. Just seeing Azys Lla in Heavensward should be enough to tell you that FFXIV is far from medieval fantasy.

A game that is too focussed on poor stuff like glamour and hairstyles. Not content or rewards fitting the content. A game too focussed on the players with zero skill, catering to the worst players. Not the guys in the middle who want to actually play the game.
@enyaliosares4301 OH so you're mad that the side content, temporary, optional content is giving fun items, that another set of optional content is giving rewards finally for doing savage mode. Even though a patch with new content just came out? Oh no 2 more hairstyles that means they're devoting all of their resources to it
@@Gaelious No it means there's a consistent tone shift between how the game used to present itself as at least kind of serious in Heavensward and Shadowbringers to this anime beach filler arc that this game is shoving down our throats ever since Endwalker 1.0 concluded. Dawntrail seems to want to continue that trend.
@athropos OH right we just ended an existence destroying calamity that means the group should never be allowed to relax or take it any kind of easy, come on now this shit was explained in the story but even then most of the cozy stuff is side content. Besides. If it was a beach episode where's my scions in swimwear. Come on now dude the side content has always been silly, but hey if you want smth serious FF16 collab is confirmed
