A slight correction: Rank 4 - Akademos Recollection is the 2nd Stage of the Shadowbringers Relic, so kinda easy to get, without the need to form groups for Castrum Lacus Littore.
The see-through effect of the Ktiseos Codex is also found on the crafted 640 Diadochos Codex, ableit with a slightly different colourscheme (still the same black pages though).
Great timing! I've just recently gotten into SCH and fallen in love with this job. Although no matter what, nothing feels more silly than hitting something with a book 🤣
i have been using Omega Codex all this time for my scholar glam because how simple and unique the glow design is. but lately i've changed to Organum Anemos because how it portrays SCH's vibe as a whole (also fits more with arbatel relic glam)
I am stunned you didn't do the final Eureka Scholar weapon, its my fave so yeah I am biased, but it has a beautiful look in terms of elegant engraving and a smooth light effect.
Am I the only one who REALLY likes the Augmented Scaevan Magitek Grimoire / Codex, for several reasons? 1. Thin profile, not just for being similar to Alphinaud's book but also there are certain glamours that a of other books clip with where-as the Augmented Scaevan Magitek book(s) won't 2. Cool spinning thing that pops out, which looks a bit reminiscent of certain Astrologian weapons 3. ** 4. As much as I like flashy effects but also prefer "plain Jane" looks with certain items, this has pretty much an almost perfect middle-ground between those, gravitating more towards the latter
My favorites tend to be much more subdued. Cognitome, the book with an Animated Old Man face, Saigaskin Codex (basically a recolor of the Scaevan stuff), Chromdite (or Imperial Magitek) Codex, Last Resort Zeta are my favorites. Some of these books are hard to glam with if you want a specific theme. Cognitome, for example, is such a cool and unique idea.. but to design a whole outfit to go with it means you'd have to go the mad (experimental?) scientist approach.. and there's just nothing really in the game that supports that kind of theme.. it would look amazing with the Alchemist job gear, for example, but that's off limits. And it makes me sad.. but alas.. Someday I really wish they'd let us glam with whatever we want, gear wise. Because its not like we're just cheating it in, we still need to earn that shit. And I can tell you as a Healer main, I'm sick to death with having to wear a Princess Dress all the god damn time. Really wish they'd explore a little more with the designs so I could use some of these books.. LIKE Cognitome, and have it work. Anyway, thats my rant.

Thank you for making this video and I wanna say sorry cause I kinda stopped watching your videos for some reason even though your content is awesome. @@DesperiusFFXIV I wouldn't say that, I just lost interest in watching FFXIV content altogether. Maybe I watched too much too often and then needed a break or something. But I'm back now, and ready to see what all I've missed lol. Looking forward to it!
I'd sell my soul for some TEA and TOP weapons fr. Pretty much everyone from my static has quit playing and I'm not sure I could handle trying to clear the hardest content in the game with randoms.
probably an unpopular opinion, but i really struggle with the book wepon designs. most relics have too strong effects,, the manderville one for example looks like a razer keyboard with the led tuned to max power, the text on the actual pages glows so much that you just see 1 big glow, no individual letters. and there are so many books that have a too large stuff on the covers, making them look more like a shield than a book, like the emerald index for example. that said, there are still some great desings here that follow the "sometimes less is more" rule, like the ktiseus codex with the window, or the hellhound codex. i've been using the normal hellhound codex for my current glam,while i do like the augmented version, there's no chance in hell i'll ever get to diamond rank in CC. it's just not my kind of content
No Last Resort? No Pyros Codex, which is a more metallic looking and fiery version of the Anima one with a unique form to the book (lots of empty space on the cover), and has fairy wings that flap?
That whole honorable mentions segment was light years better than Titans Codex like huh? .. why were they not ranked those were some of the best weapons lol

Anima weapons are so unique and definitely my favorite for scholar. They add a lot more than just some glow in most weapons.

No..hellhound weapon should be handled like how feast hands out wolf collars. You can get them in bronze, but it will be a lot slower
Absolutely agree. They already have this progressive System in place but need to stretch it down to lower Ranks
