Surprised that the most caster looking sets(the feathered ones) weren't for caster, but congrats on healers finally getting some TROUSERS!!! I do like how sleak the caster/healer sets are, with they had a tiny bit more 'vroomph' to them like the other sets
they're fantastic, elegance over extravagance is not a step down. Would have preferred if the women's set was split down the middle like it is for men though.
I'm so tired of Healers and magic dps getting the lamest versions of each armor set every time its infuriating. The Aiming, Striking, and Scouting designs fit so much more with casting where the super sleek designs that the mages got would fit fast moving mobile jobs way better.
Meanwhile as a tank main I'm sobbing over getting yet another stupid set of armor I can't use for any glams that aren't 'wearing armor'. I'd kill for any one of the sets you guys are getting. T__T
Boohoo @Firecat0 if you want something other than armor there's an infinite army of non armor clothing that anyone can wear, whereas the same can not be said in reverse

You seem to mistake my dissatisfaction with armor as a desire to remove it from the pool of options, but I want everyone, including you, to be able to wear the gear they like regardless of what weapon they hold.

I'm sorry but the Aiming, Striking and Scouting sets give me Dark Seraph vibes with all those pairs of wings. you get 2 on your sides, 2 in the back, 2 on your shoulders and so many covering your head. Pair the sets with the Wing mounts we get in the EX trials and bam you have Angelic Choirs

All these feathers and the armor will have 0 animation because of Engine limitations... this is one of those sets that gonna look and feel Horrible once you start moving around in it lol. Cardboard feathers.

So this time around it's the heavy armor that wins. The helmets should have a face shadow effect when visored off, lighting within is bad otherwise. The rest of them are questionable at best, and hideous at the worst.

Paladin main and devastated over being forced into yet another useless set of armor while the rest of the party (besides maiming) gets cool and useful outfits.
And again melee dps and tank looks the coolest while healing loong god aweful, I just can't play a healer in ff14 because 90% of the sets are just so ugly

I would normally agree if the tome gear for Maiming didn't have the superior color scheme. Quetzali Fending just do compare with it's bad dye job.

theres a tool floating outthere called, textools, lets you replace the model of a set of ingame armor with any other set or new/modded ones.
