do an install on a truck without the worn holes,how do you know where to drill and tap? And good question out there, what happens when these wear out and you try to remove them and they break off? Any reason they could not go through the hole and have a lock nut with red lock tight on the back side to prevent this problem? Thanks for all the great upgrades and ideas, making a list for when I get my 5ive T made by Losi to compete againist the Baja 5T made by HPI lol
What are you going to do when the bump screws wear out your chassis stops and the head falls off and your left with a red loctited stud in the there? Or if you go to replace the worn out stops and the weakened head breaks off leaving you with again a red loctited stud left behind?
Like that first gf, 1/3 in 2/3 out, lube, 1/3 in, 2/3 out, lube. Dont just ram it in, sometimes I get a small torch and apply heat and makes it easier, follow the 1/3, 2/3 rule to be safe. Clean and test thread as a precaution if need be.
@weetnietgeen Losi is a car manufacturer, HPI makes the baja and baja(s) alone. Losi's 5ive is Losi's 1/5th scale 4wd. Basically HPI's competition. And HPI is losing bad as all they do is change the body on a baja and give it a new name. Nothing new nothing original

so, if i get it right, this ''Losi 5ive'' is an HPI product based on the HPI Baja 5T / B / B SS ?
thanks
@weetnietgeen The Losi 5ive T is from LOSI not HPI
Would triflow synthetic grease be okay when taping? What about regular WD40

@weetnietgeen
No, Losi is it's own company. They have nothing to do with HPI.
Remember, only use cutting oil specifically designed for aluminum!
