RC is all about having fun, being creative and getting in a good laugh or two! A few Beers doesn't hurt either.. Bahaha (if your old enough). Im really happy with the way this project is turning out. The entire chassis was torn down and now the re-assemble is starting to take shape. Everett is a great help in the studio.. making the giant job a LOT easier for me to film. The cool thing about the Losi 5T, is that its like working on an old car! You can still get in there, lots of room to work on the rig. It's starting to take shape .. I'm excited to see what we come up with next!

been watching all your 1/5 scale videos the past few days medic! I am on bed rest and cant walk because i had ankle surgery. looking overand picking put my first 1/5 scale car. i loved your losi dbxl unboxing.Thanks for the videos. gives me a good laugh and i learn alot while going through all of this.

This series is the best guys! Truly awesome and funny. I have finally after racing drones, and all scale of nitros I have gotten a 1/5 gas! Not losi but it's a rovan and an entry-level so I can learn more first. These 1/5 scale are so amazing!! Would love to see some more videos from you guys on the big boys. I learn so much from you guys and where to get good stuff

On exposed bearings you can use spray on garage door lube from any hardware store. It's basically silicone spray that leaves a dry tack layer to lower friction and repel water. I use it for exposed moving parts and to revive dirty or seized bearings.

Medic omg man have you seen what's new for the 5ive a buggy conversion kit. It looks amazing you get a diff chassis , with side plates and the body check it out mate. If you've not already seen it you'll LOVE it those big shocks poking out the front look amazing plus it could be faster with less weight.
This is really interesting even though I've never owned a proper RC :D
You said a reciprocating saw would be great. DeWalt makes a 12v saw that uses the same battery as Everett's drill. It would be great for jobs like this

Medic how are you I have a question I have my Losi 5t and won’t reverse I dont if is a servo or anything outs
My friend, I have a question: where did you put the first esc wire in any channel and the second esc into any channel, the first servo in any channel, and the second servo in any channel
Did you resolve the issue where the receiver box has no where to go once cut?
did you just wire them in parallel? would I need to by a bec for extra power
If for whatever reason you lose steering while running be suite to get to the truck quickly to turn it off. My Buddy and I were running our 5ives and he blew up a front cvd, which caused his steering to bind, the servos continued to try to center and he fried his two hitec servos in the thirty seconds it took him to get to it. Just a heads up.
Two servo steering is great in this big truck, no servo fade, great upgrade.
