Cheers FastEddy... Being a noobie to 1/5th scale and taking your vids as gospel, have not steered me in the wrong direction yet... Keep coming with the losi 5ive vids, in no time my losi will be stellar. Would love to see you add dual stear servo's... Cheers.
Just a tip. A drop of diff fluid on the gasket between the gasket and the ring gear will hold it in place. Also a couple of drops between the larger internal gear and the ring gear as well as the one that goes inside the diff itself will keep a good portion of the air out.

Can you do a video on removing the diffs from the truck? I am getting one I was told to remove the diffs to check for fluid. Wont to make sure I do it right.
hey fast eddy.I am redoing diffs for first time and I noticed that from factory my shaft holders are installed opposite you say.My holders from factory are flat side OUT.I am not an engineer or anything but seems to me the flat side is nice and squared off, which seems to me would fit more snuggly against smooth flat surface of the diff housing. My diff is in parts awaiting your reply.Just want to make sure THANKS
I have a bind in the rear some wear and can't find out what's up i took the center and rear apart and no issue all good took the motor off and checked All the fly wheel Fins and all good
I have a question would the differentials on your team losi 5t be the same as the team losi desert buggy xl? Reason for asking is there are not to many difference between the two rc cars and I was trying to figure out if this video would be a good guild to help me rebuild my differentials on the team losi dbxl. Thank you for any help that you would be able to provide me
why is it bad to over fill? apart from some seeping at the end (I just refilled my slash diffs, I wanna know before I run, if it will ruin them or wear them quicker.
This is a good question and I was hoping he would touch on it but I believe the reasoning for not overfilling is because the diff builds up pressure as it spins therefore can cause overheating, leaks and eventually failure.
Around 1 minute you say a spur gear on the front diff, but the spur go's on to the CENTER diff, and the ring gear go's on the front or rear diff. just to know it..
this guy literally just showed us how to rebuild with one of the parts orientated wrong.... ITS FLAT SIDE OUT... im 100% positive this guy is wrong. i took apart my stock losi 5ive from the factory and they put flat side out. it only makes sense. why would you put a rounded edge into a square socket??? 08:39 is what im talking about
When are you going to lower the prices on your products your shut Is way over priced that's why I haven't bothered to buy any fast Eddie stuff it looks good but the prices are trash over priced I rather buy from China its the same for a grain of the price you charge
Perfecte video,s wordt heel goed uit gelegd allemaal..😊❤

Simply the perfect video. ❤
I'm DEFINITELY going to want to remember that lapping Trick!! It's one of those extra things that the factory doesn't do!

stoves92 yeah that would be great for us newbies
Very good video nicely done
@13:32... don’t tighten in circles, always go in a cross pattern. Just like when you tighten lug nuts on a car.

How do you take out the bevel gear that's inside the housing

scott smartt Yes, that is correct.
hi ist this the same build on losi desert xl.?
It's a shame the rebuild kit doesn't come with bearings and everything you need

what gear pitch is the sun gear
Olá...qual seria a medida dos orings..
glue the gasket? just put everything that will fall off on the part you're not turning upside down.... and flat side out.
No locktite needed?
Rams495 no because the housing is plastic. Locktite melts plastic. Never use locktite on a screw going into plastic unless you want it to fall out.

Rideredracer is right this is wrong!!!!!! flat side is out ronded side is in!
Really?...polishing the diff gears? lol
