I recently got back into reading and there’s so many recommendations I came by on TH-cam. I don’t know what’s YA or Adult Romance and basically get surprised with every book I read. I just finished Love Hypothesis and I was thinking…spice honestly kills the romance of the characters for me. The books literally go from cute little moments and the things he or she said to BAM!…they’re in bed together and it’s like why?!.. everything was going great before that. I definitely want to encourage you to continue making these videos!

Another TH-camr recommended To Con A Gentleman by Sarah Adams and it is now my favorite book lol. I LOVE Sarah Adams writings. I also read the second book in the series and it was also amazing. She is awesome. I started to read The Roomate Situation but ended up DNF’ing it. The way they were fantasizing about each other was too descriptive for me 😂. Thank you for your recs! New subby! 😊❤

i need to give katie bailey another try! i read the roommate situation a few years ago and didn’t love it. then more recently i picked up and started so that happened like 3 times but didn’t get into it so maybe i just need to try one more time haha! i do have several juliana smith books on my tbr though very excited!
I feel like the first 100 pages of So That Happened are slow, but it gets better!!! And Juliana’s books are SO good and so cute 🥹🥹

I'm disappointed that pretty much everything in the books boils down to that! I'm a Christian and I really don't feel comfortable reading that. Really thank you! One question: when you say that books are a genre YA, is it impossible for them to have sex? The truth is that I don't like it either when they imply it before marriage (these are my beliefs) that's why I wanted to ask you if there are any of those you recommend who don't have anything at all (before marriage) who don't imply it either.

I started reading Fourth Wing and right off the bat they talk about having a lot of sex "because you never know when you could die" and the main character immediately gets all horny for a guy and it makes me so frustrated I ended up here. I'm asexual so the prospect of feeling sexually attracted to someone at first sight always throws me off. I also can't enjoy reading characters having sex. But alas, it's hard to find beloved books that are devoid of any spice and oftentimes people who recommend a book don't specify if there's spice. So thank you for this video!

I would say the YA ones are for sure! The others are closed door, but there’s innuendos in some of them and they are about adults so it might not be as relatable to read. But really it’s up to your discretion!
