Note: I did make one small mistake in this video, the pitch sweeps are actually stored per note, not per step. This means that a step can contain more than one note with different pitch sweep settings. Also forgot to mention you can also use glide in legato mode with adjustable speed which is smooth

Thanks so much for another helpful 8bit warps tutorial, I haven't even gotten to the sweep function yet, there's so much packed into this little box. I look forward to the upcoming vids, all deep dives into this thing are welcome!. Also thumbs-up for the PnP, seeing an explaining face is always more engaging than just a static device shot.

Very glad to be of help, of there's anything you need to know let me know. Thanks for the feedback on the mug shot in the corner, that's my thoughts exactly. It's more work to film but I spend a lot of my time on other videos just pointing at things, can't be much fun to watch 😄

You're destined to be a foremost Sonicware authority, if you keep showing the depth of the Livens. One of my favorites to play around with in the LVN8 (Still) is the waveform capture. But this zippery goodnees is lots of very minimal-based fun. 😃👍

Thank you. Yes I'm certainly planning to make more tutorials than I used to so there will be more Liven how-to videos. The XFM also has a capture function btw, it's used to capture sounds that have been morphed together. Very cool
Did you like the picture in picture btw? I've never done that before.

@@ChrisLodyMusic👍 and👍NICE!!!!!! And really cool about the morph and capture! I got to be a really big fan of this kind of stuff when the Nord Mod G2 came out. The morphing and mutations possible in patches was a really interesting way to work. Pic in pic is 👍👍😎

Thanks, the pic in pic seems to have gone down quite well so I guess I'll keep doing it. Yeah the only other device I have that does morphing is the Nord Lead actually

@@ChrisLodyMusic👍 I don't miss my old G2 nearly as much, now that I have the ZOIA. 😁

Is it possible to replicate the "Glide" function (as seen/heard on Teenage Engineering's PO28 Robot) on the Liven 8bit Warps?

Actually that's something I probably should have mentioned, it also has a legato mode that has a glide mode so you can use that too. It's smooth instead of stepped and has adjustable speed
