Aloft -A very promising raftlike survival game with unique building

Aloft is a crafting survival title currently under development scheduled to release in 2024 and there is a playable demo on steam right now. In this video I will talk about why I think this is a very interesting title that can shape up too become a very good co-op game in the, “raft” genre. I will take a good look at the demo, both the good stuff and also talk about stuff I think they need to solve prior to release.

Aye thanks for the video! Does look like an interesting game. I do like the idea of taking over an Island and turning it into a mobile base. That seems like a fun concept. I wonder if they will implement a way to attach other Islands at some point to grow your base? Anyways keep up the great work!

I don't think they will make it possible to merge islands. But some islands are very very big so It's possible to grab one of those if you would like to build a big base. I think right now the things that the developers need to improve is the amount of content. A reason to keep going, and also more gameplay in between islands. In the demo, what is there is good but it is not that long before you run out of stuff to do that is not just keep building on your base. The demo is an early alpha build so hopefully there is a good chance that a lot of content will be added prior to release.
