I agree this foundation can make skin look dry. When I first tried it, I was expecting to love it based on reviews, but felt disappointed with the results. Over time, I’ve tried using different moisturizers under it and that has made a big difference. It won’t ever be a product I reach for on days when I want full coverage, but I’ve grown to really like it on days when I just want a very light makeup look. I’ll thoroughly moisturize then very sparingly smooth a tiny bit of this over my skin. (A little goes a long way and the more I use, the drier it looks) After applying, I use my concealer as usual and dust on a light powder or powder foundation over top and that does give me a light natural looking base. Kind of a “my skin but better” look. I’ll add a bit of light bronzer, blush, and highlighter…nothing too intense or blinding…and it works well that way. Overall it ended up being one of those products I had to experiment with more to figure out how to make it work best for me. That being said, I will buy another bottle after I use this one up because I’m happy with it for those days when I don’t want to look overdone, but want to look & feel just a bit more put together.

I like the feel of the formula and the thinness, but it also oxidized on me really quickly. I looked orange about 20 minutes after I finished my makeup. Bummer!

I have light neutral skin tone and I couldn't find a color match. The 3 lightest shades were either too light too dark or too pink. It looks ok on but definitely not like natural skin. Most foundations, tinted moisturizers and BB cream I've tried including this one you can see on the skin no matter how much prepping and blending and everything always looks pinkish gray and a different color than my neck. I've tried so many over the years and no matter what undertone it is it doesn't match so I've just about given up lol

Oh man, how disappointing. I added this to my collection just before I went on my no-buy, and I haven't had the chance to use it yet. I'm more of a medium to medium full coverage kind of girl, so I don't know if it's really going to work, and I'm also 47 and having aging skin with large pores so it's not looking real good for me. Lol. I don't really rely on skin care benefits in foundation. I use a lot of skin care for that, so I'm not overly concerned about that aspect, but the fact that it looked dry and accentuated pores is really bumming me out.
I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Thanks for the review.

Yeah, $20 is way too much. Not the best looking at least now I'm not going to try it. Because of your demo on the Purlisse BB Cream, I was sold on it and ordered that one right away. It's 100% better! Can't afford it anymore but now I'm using L'Oreal Infallible powder foundation along with the pore-refining primer serum from WetnWild, and it's a fantastic combo! Have you tried it yet?
I highly recommend it, but it will give more medium to full coverage. Best way I use it, is first going in with a sheer layer buffed in with the e.l.f. Kabuki brush, followed by building it up with the sponge applicator as needed, and then taking the Kabuki again to lightly buff it all out, evenly. Then I lightly mist my face with plain water, and it locks it all in place. I'm telling you, this product combo, method, and technique works.👌🏻

Would you mind sharing with me the exact names of these two makeup items you are using "L'Oreal Infallible powder foundation along with the pore-refining primer serum from WetnWild"? Thanks a lot!
