I’m in love lol I’ve followed you for a while so I’ve see most of yours loc journeys and I love this one the parting and the size look so nice and I love the coils I started with two strand twist so I love how different they loc up
I respect that you had to do what you had to do but this is why I reFUSED to do coil I started with twist and did not care about the downsides and now we're doing okay 1 year and 2 months later. I play around too much for coils. But stay going they look great and they'll keep getting better.
I will be 3 months on the 19th and mine are 2 strand twists! What downsides have you experienced or what are some downsides others say for the 2Stranders?

Hi Des! I'm new to your channel and the loc community! I love your videos! I don't know how you hair TH-cams do it! I put a video on my IG and I couldn't seem to keep myself in the frame 🤣 My daughter was laughing at me and had to help me! Anyhoo, my starter locs will be 3 months on the 19th and I am seeing some budding. So my question is, for your budding, is that area loose and squishy (not d dense)? Mine isn't dense and I was wondering if this is still considered budding! This issue I have been having during my retwist sessions is not being able to see my head (especially the back) and trying to separate my hair and find my parts in the back!!! Urggggg, I hate that part! BUT, I'm loving the process! Although, I am impatient and I keep checking my strands to see if they are locking 🤣 I know, it's ONLY been 3 months! So that's been my first lesson - I'm impatient 😆!
Hey Girl. What's your view on drenching your hair with water from time to time? Have you ever heard if it has any significance? I heard the only significance is that it helps with moisturizing only.
preference ig…i do know ppl with coils typically dont do it or not as often bc they are scared of the unravel..they try to keep them as dry and together as possible
personally(ik other can agree) i feel as if water can help it matt better ..i started with twists almost 3 months ago and i dont even see the pattern anymore but i also wash my hair every 2 weeks and i drench it with water about 2-3 times a week
That's very common! Depending on your hair texture you might notice they will start to bud within another month or so and that should help keep them together
I have budding at 3 weeks and my hair is 4a. Not sure of her method but I wet my hair a lot with a spray bottle or in the shower and go to the beach weekly.

Ive had my starter locs for a month now and almost all the perimeter of my locs came undone smh
