    Short and to the point! How do you like this format? Do you want more talking, voiceover or anything else? 😀

    Great video and I’m particularly looking forward to the Defender ones. Personally, I’d like it if you talked us through what you’re doing.

      Thank you! 🙂👍 There will be more talking in the Defender videos. And will look into doing a voiceover on the videos which don't have any talking in them. Really appreciate the feedback! Helps me to improve the quality of the content on this channel. Yours Simon.

    Brilliant info Simon, thanks. With those Land Rover Tool part numbers I was able to purchase a set of those spanners myself.

      Great to hear! They are basically 99% of the job so a good buy.

    Well, you are a pretty cool bunch of TH-cam Land Rover people! I’m late to the party (guess what’s just blown up on my D3 😁) but I like the format. Very clean and easy to follow!

      Welcome aboard! I glad you like the format. I try to keep it simple but with enought details so others DIY mechanics can do it. I find some "How to" videos just show how to do it but does not show the strugles and the real effort going into doing the job. Like bolt breaking and such. Blown up.. Sounds serious?

    great info , but , its easy to make some wrench for the (41 mm) ? nut thing , but the tool to fit over the10mm heads is less obvious. btw if you look at the fan its only obvious to be rh thread

      Great point! - Would be fun to try and make it your self. Made an improved solution for my Defender back in the day. 👍😁

    Easy if you have the special wrenches. Could you post the width of the openings for each and overall length?

    • @LandRoverDrive
      @LandRoverDrive  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Gordon, Sorry about not including the spanner info. Its a special 36mm opend-ended spanner. Land Rover tool No. 303-1142 and 303-1143. 👍😀 And with the tools it's super easy and super fats to do. 👍

      @@LandRoverDrive Thanks for the info. After watching the video I went to Amazon and did a search for fan clutch removal tools. There is a kit that goes from 36mm up to 68mm for $47 Cdn. May order that as I want to change the belts on my two RRs.

    • @LandRoverDrive
      @LandRoverDrive  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, bunch of kits out there. One combines the the Discovery 3 and the Defender. Don't know the quality of them but I think all of them will do the job. 👍😀

    Are you turning the pump pulley to the right and the clutch fan to left first then to the right after it goes?

    • @LandRoverDrive
      @LandRoverDrive  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The fan has link threads / opposite threads than normal. So the inner big key holts the fan clutch still, while the outer big key turns the fan clock wise. Not sure if that makes sense? 😊
