I think that other dude is full of shit and he knows it. I wouldn’t worry about a thing. Yeah it sucks he couldn’t handle his car, but that’s nothing on you! He knew you were there clearly, and if he can’t even door slam or tap the side of someone without wrecking himself in the process and getting upset, he shouldn’t be out there racing. If you aren’t rubbing somewhere, you’re not racing, you’re just driving.
I think he was probably too tight on your outside and/or too slow to react. Looks like you had a shallow entry into three which led to a bit of understeer at the center of three and four but dude should have known that and realized you might have some mid-corner understeer and adjusted his line accordingly.
That was how I felt. But man he sure came to my pit threatening to beat everyone's ass and then ran around the pits telling every other racer how he was gonna wreck me in the next race. 🤣😂🤣
We run in what is called "Vintage Modified" here in the Pacific NW. It's basically a Late Model chassis with whatever body you want to run, 1972 or older. 😉
I watched the clip and I think he screwed up not you. I think that it was just a situation where he screwed up and was looking for an excuse and you ended up being his excuse.
You're not the first to say that, but you're just looking at how I hold the wheel. It's a preference of mine to cross my hands over, not a reaction to how the car is handling. 😉
