Warm and punchy hard base, and crystal clear sound over hundred of meters if you play outside, you have such a nice range of mid and high speakers so all can clearly here what you playing! These are amazing sound for band or DJ. 150p watts RMS not peak and loud, punchy, crystal clear sound and by fate best one. I ordered another system today I love it so much but 1 will rock and is plenty for a band gig outside for 200 plus people...yes really!!!
LD - I will wait till these come out in white. Also, is there any way your design team can come out with a grill / face plate version to place on the back of the speaker when using in cardioid style? I am pretty sure this will increase the sales for the bass units since sometimes at private events/weddings we need more subs to cover big rooms. Let me know your thoughts.

great review, i think the best DJ solution, full range solution, are now LD systems : MAUI 28 G2, MAUI 44 G2, and the new DAVE 18 G4X for big bass event. But will be an MAUI 28/44 G3/G4 in 2023 ?

Hi Joe, due to the TrueWireless Stereo Technology, there is no latency between the two linked MAUI 44 G2. Referring to our user manual (link below), the distance between both systems for pairing is max. 15m. Under perfect conditions the bluetooth range is approximately 40m, but this distance will be reduced by outer influences like mobile phones using bluetooth or w-lan and other interferencing electronic devices. The weakness of this system is that u cannot change the sound.( high/ mid/ bass) We are in 2022 and it’s pity. Otherwise is pretty good system with lot of headroom.
Hi Georges, MAUI 44 G2 features a sub adjustment knob, so you can actually adapt the amount of lows. Also people usually use a mixer, you can adjust everything you need to adjust on your mixer. This PA system was designed as a hybrid between mobile DJ and event technician gear. It's a PA, not a HiFi system. So yes, you need to dial in the right tone from the source.
MAJ : I tried the system in another configuration and the sound is really good, clean. The lone regret could be about the power, it miss 5 DB for me. By the way, how many DB do you win in cardiod mode with 2 sub please ? ( i heard 6 DB in normal mode ) thks
You have a very good point. It is not easy as a producer to find a good time to change such terms in print works. However, we can assure you that it is in no way meant to be disrespectful and our ethical standards are high. I will add that I work under The Walt Disney Company and I brought this up within my unit and after 4 months of staying on their ass about this, they finally instituted a change company wide. All units under the TWDC have made updates and changes to the nomenclature. Leader/Follower, primary/backup are just some of updates implemented. I appreciate you not being dismissive about this like other companies I have informed. You guys have a chance to be leaders in the industry by making a change going forward.

The cardioid top is the coolest part

Finally I can make choices between stagepas 1k、evolve 50、RCf evox 、flex running man Mackie. I think this is real for rock band gig
