Joyner is one of the only rappers to hold his own in a song with Em. With that being said Em had so many sick lines in this. "I write till the wheels fall off, Im working tire-less-ly
Kxng Crooked and Royce are the only ones i have ever seen hold their own with Em (apparently Lil Wayne can do it too) but Joyner cant match Em in the long run and you can see how was running out of steam by the end of his verse

When Em said “his album flopped”, he was referring to his album, “Revival”. This album actually did flop because, unlike all of his other studio albums, it didn’t debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 and it didn’t sell as much records as all the other albums or get a lot of streams and listens when it first came out on digital platforms. Compared to all of his other albums, “Revival” is Em’s most poorly received album.
I think it's gonna catch up though..I recently revisited that album and holy shit, we were all sleeping. That's the first album where he REALLY gets deep in the bag lyrically. Unfortunately the production didn't match where he was at and/or where people's heads were at.
it debuted at number 1, Eminem is the only or one of the few who has like 10 albums in a row debuting at number 1, but yeah, Revival did sell less than others

Em has had a lot of controversy in his career. It always came from outside of rap, but this album (Kamikaze) was about the rap industry actually attacking him. Revival was a very political album. Talked about racial injustice ect. Then everyone dogged on it, even inside the industry. To do this in the right order, you could listen to the Chloraseptic remix, he dropped that a couple months after the album Revival which then sets up the Kamikaze album. Until the Kamikaze came out, I didn't realize how much he was telling you what he was about to do. Then go to the songs The Ringer, and Fall off of the Kamikaze album.
