We have to bring back precious just in case Randall goes down again we need a backup power forward hard gets rebounds but he's too small. The way he played he deserves to be a New York Knicks and he is from New York City

Precious should be brought back He earned the spot. And don't forget the Knicks drafted Ariel 7 ft 245 lb been playing professional basketball for 3 years. 22 years old upside unlimited
for a center he is not big enough. as a forward don't mind. think they'll trade for a center
Ariel will be in the G league. We should bring Precious and either Wiseman or Goga. We can't afford anybody else and we need Simms to catch up. We got no money and only person to trade is Deuce. Also...what is all this about Coach being the big man whisperer? Why have Mitch's numbers gone DOWN? He has NO OFFENSIVE development at all. His blocks have gone DOWN to an average 1.2 a game.

7' 2.5" wingspan (iHart: 7'2" Mitch: 7'4") switchable defender, 11/11 and 1.7 blocks per 36 minutes (iHart: 11/12 and 1.6 Mitch: 8/12 and 1.6), decent defense on Embiid. Cheap price. Not yet 25.

@@user-is1yo3nj8p it's literally the other way around. When a guy defends centers well, rebounds well, and protects the rim well, it doesn't matter that he's 6'8"...especially if he has a wingspan and standing reach similar to 7 footers.
If the Knicks find a better backup center than Precious, I will be very happy...and very surprised.
@@Michael_Page dude knock it off. 4 inches in height matters. That's why you don't see any good PGs under 6. Small sample sizes mean nothing when he's forced to bang against 7 footers on a regular basis.
The question I have is of all the aforementioned free agents, who is Thibs playing at the end of a close game? I'm thinking it's going to be a small ball lineup with Ju at center. Rose usually makes mid season trades that turn out to pay big! Concur with Precious coming back.

He’s 27, mature and Knicks need to sign him quick as the list is getting shorter and shorter. Sign him and Achiuwa as Knicks now have room. Robinson is the starter but Mo and Precious along with Sims and Ariel Hukporti can be the back ups or trade for Capella or Steven Adams aka Aquaman

Daniel Theis is good. very solid. does a little bit of everything. a little undersized but he plays big, rebounds hard and fits Thibbs mold of tough workhorse.

I'd rather be able to start 26 year old 6'11" Mo Wagner at C and 24 year old 6'8" Precious at back up at PF and SF as needed than just Isiah and we can get both for less than we were gonna pay Iheart which wasn't enough. 7m x 3 for each and try to get team option for 4th year. Mitch off bench with Dante, Josh and Deuce. Precious 10th dude and Sims is 11th / 3rd Center insurance for MRob. Would still have $ for a Bogy like player at mid level exception as 12th bench dude. 13 is Toppin. Still would like to see what Juju with OG, Josh, Mikal and Jalen would look like.

I agree...Precious is an excellent backup at 4 or 5. He showed that last year. Wiseman would be a cheap signing who could blossom. Get em both!

Considering the market thats left, I think resigning Precious is a good move for us. It covers up those backup PF minutes and a potential Randle injury. He definitely performed well enough for a spot as I remember people completely writing him off of the OG trade and never seeing courttime for the knicks.

No brainer....should have been sign him....taken this long was a disrespect to his commitment to the knicks last seasons.i argue that that precious is key to our success going forward..since hes been here he has been steady solid and ready!

Precious definitely earned a spot. Wiseman coming in for Robinson off the bench is a perfect fit. Wiseman needs NY and Thibs so he can live up to that potential.

@@sergiomendez1597mitch has played over 60 games 3 times in his career, in one season he played 72 games, I rather have mitch than ihart for real, we dont need an offensive mitch we need mitch the lockdown defender, rim protector, the rebounder and the blockness monster...I wouldnt mind wagner to back him up, send Simms to nets and have the 58th draft pick as thirdstring...need to bring precious back to back up julius ...on top of that I love deuce, however he's a shooter and defender, he's not a facilitator and I believe we need a facilitator to backup Brunson, we have enough scorers and defenders in our bench...I love that kid tyler kolek, honestly believe he's nba ready and fits our squad greatly...just saying we dont need no wiseman...

Precious Achuwa is not a 5, even though he played there on a purely stop gap basis. Too small. Power forward, maybe, but not a center. Remember, the likelihood is that Robinson is going to miss at least half of the season with injuries.

After Randle u have OG for 4, if you can’t take a shot n clog paint as a 4 nor create off, ur hurting the team esp bc of JB’s style n midrange. PA said uncomfortable at 5 tbh 🗑️ if he’s on the court in big trouble, TQO was 6.4 n rejected front office obv saw it
Hard pass on Wiseman. Hartenstein was a solid player for the Clippers, as was Randle with the Pelicans the season before. Wiseman is just an awful player.
