    Looking at those early mini-theatres reminds me that these were devised by adults as much for their own amusement as their children's. If kids are young enough, they seem to get as much enjoyment out of a cardboard box as the toy that came in it. That must be down to their imagination. Cats enjoy a box too, but I doubt that they imagine the same things.

    Beautiful museum...used to visit as a child circa 1967 onwards...love the rocking horse best, polished by 50 years of visiting children reaching top to smooth his legs :)

    This was really cool. I love the effort to preserve the toys, even if they aren't the truly rare or expensive. Just loved!

    A" God doll ??! "It is a wax baby Jesus and it was used and is still used by the Christian's to decorate during Christmas in addition with the Nativity creche ! we still pray before the Blessed child because it represents GOD We pray when we need a cure or problems and special needs ! "A God doll"! 😂😂😂😂😂

      To be truly sinister, some of those china dolls should be blindfolded.
