After fighting wit Rhaenyra, Daemon was clearly looking forward to more resistance at Harrenhall. His disappointment was all over his face at the dinner table lol. Brilliant.
It actually captured the grand scale of the source material unlike GOT - might as well take it as its own continuity by this point. It's definitely more faithful to ASOIAF.
100%. Caraxes is tied with Vhagar as my favourite dragon in the entire mythos. It should be Caraxes with his mutation, but something about the description I read before when Aemond killed Luc, "Vhagar was not a domesticated pet, Vhagar was an ancient war machine, who had fought in countless battles before any man living was even born. Aemond led Vhagar to prey, and in an instant Aemond learned what it had taken his sire a lifetime to understand. We do not control the dragons." An ancient war machine is a metal as fuck description of a living thing, it reminds me of the Dreadnoughts from 40K.
@Th1sIsMyLegacy I don't find Vhagar an attractive dragon to like at all. Caraxes has so much character, Yes I know Vhagar is a big bad bitch, but the blood wyrm is the one
Hands down the best dragon. Such blood-curdling screams would put fear into any person. Since Caraxes is a mutated dragon he is also part fire worm making this breath of fire the hottest in the show, known to melt on contact.

So many writers, including George R Martin, put so many details in the dialog and set up so many questions in the episode. This show attracts many of the wrong audience.
@@AmusedCoffee-ym3gb Agreed. This episode had so much character development and world-building packed into just an hour of screen time. Obviously, the dragon scenes are cool, how can they not be? Just wish more people had better attention spans lol. One other thing that shined this episode (and most of the series) was the score. That scene with the army marching out of King's Landing was phenomenal. Ramin Djawadi is a masterclass composer.
Yes! Do you remember when daemon came back to kings landing after fighting at the stepstones for years ? He flew over rhaenerya and she knew it was him from the sound of ceraxes
Daemon's Souls +10 Noire Soeur (Dark Sister) - A longsword of Valyrian steel. It is one of two ancestral swords of House Targaryen, the other being Blackfyre. Rogue Prince set (armor) - Prince Daemon Targaryen was a member of House Targaryen, being a younger son of Prince Baelon Targaryen.
@0:35 the shot of when Caraxes lands on the tower with Daemon looking around is so sick. As if the Trex from Jurassic Park was in Elden Ring. Hope someone edits this to add a Dark Souls boss title: The Rogue Prince Daemon Targaryen and Caraxes the Blood Wyrm
No way Daemon would have not shown face after the duel with Aemond & Vhagar.. if he had survived he definitely would have at least tried to bond with one of the 2 or 3 dragons remaining and he would have been king practically.
This shit felt like an Elden Ring dungeon lol
Bayle the Dread!
Lord Placidusax🐲🐲🐲🐲
Nah Dark Souls vibes for sure over Elden Ring. The Undead Asylum.
its so climatic in Harrenhall I could have stayed there for the entire episode, shame we only got like 10 min there
More like dark souls entering a ruin keep.
The POV of Daemon on the dragon was sick
That's just a preview of the battle above the gods eye
Caraxes: May I burn it.
Daemon: No we need it intact.
Pause:
Well, not anymore tact.
After fighting wit Rhaenyra, Daemon was clearly looking forward to more resistance at Harrenhall. His disappointment was all over his face at the dinner table lol. Brilliant.
I swear every moment of this show is like a gift for those of us that truly love the world of ‘A Song Of Ice & Fire’
Here Here, Well Said.
It makes up for the disappointment that was the original series post season 5
its so true, they put so much detail into the world, its such a treat

I could listen to The Blood Worm hiss and snap every day, what a beast!

Very cute ❤

Yes I know Vhagar is a big bad bitch, but the blood wyrm is the one
Caraxes roar is real asmr
Reminds me of Ghidorah
Every time Caraxes shrieks I get shivers and think daymn that sounds so terrifying yet so cool. They totally nailed the voice for this dragon
I freaking love Caraxes. The unique look, the shrill trilling screech scream, and obviously highly intelligent.

Alys Rivers: "You will die in this place."
Daemon: "So will Aemond."
Exactly

Basically meant for Spoilers yeah right haha…Talk With Your Friends About it no Need to spread your bookknowledge in a video about season 2

I wasn’t really paying attention to this episode until I heard caraxes….his vocal ques are so distinct
Same with moondancer think I only paid attention to those scenes

That episode was the definition of the phrase "calm before the storm"
*The Stones of Harrenhal*
"Gods damn it, not again!!!!"
Amazing pov shot from Caraxes Harrenhal was spooky 😰
Everything about this show is just FLAWLESS.
I love the militaristic drums in the soundtrack.
This whole sequence and setting was the most fantasy like scene the GOT universe has ever had
I got goosebumps this scene, the music, the pov, Caraxe’s scream everything about it Daemon is such a badass. Man I love this series
Gods what a great show
don't jinx it bro. we said that about the last one.
@@ArbiterofMankindthis one has an ending
@@hokagedlo6133 with all the changes they are making. I wouldn’t be so certain.

The POV 😍🔥
I love mah boi caraxes' sound so much he's very unique dragon among other targaryen dragons
Jeez Aegon & Balerion did a number on this castle..
The best shot of the episode
Man, I just love everything about this dragon!
This looks better than 200M$+ movies made nowadays
And makes Disney+'s shows look like The CW.
CARAXES THE GOAT OF ALL CHARACTERS
Man this scene feel so damn good
The themes for daemon are the best of the series's
I’m sure I can see a face in the clouds on the right handside at around 10 seconds in when he’s flying directly over the gods eye
Peak television right here
this theme is fabulous
Its crazy that we have all this content and lore in Hotd and ASOIAF....just for bran to become king
0:44 Daemon smirking atop Ceraxes in the rain is too fucking cool.
Bravo hbo for making amends for got s5-8. This show by the seven gods just gets better and better.
he is so vocal like a husky
We can not say anything on this show, all is perfect, I felt I was looking Lord of Rings as a kid for the first time

This comment made me roll 😂😂 u got it 😂😂
This soundtrack is so sick 💯💯💯
I hope we get more of the creepy dark fantasy aspect of Asoiaf

Him arriving and walking the halls of Harrenhal felt like what a PlayStation 6 remake of Dark Souls would look like.
NOODLE BOY!!!! ❤
I dont think Ceraxes likes Harrenhall by sounds. He is asking his dad- do we have to go here 😂
Caraxes and Daemon 🥶
Can’t wait for rooks rest to kick off next week!
Noodle boy
Everyone in the castle: 😳😮😦😨😱
Caraxes ❤
only one dragon made them to surrender..imagine what rhoynish soldiers thought of when they saw 300 dragons coming tp burn them to crisp

Finally! HoTD takes notes from Eragon with the dragon rider POV shot. I hope they do the same for the battle of tumbleton in later series.
Caraxes looks small in this
No its because of harrenhal, Harrenhal is a really really really massive castle
yea, it's due to the size of the castle. It's insane how big harrenhall is
Daemon and craxes will die soon , while the battle of harrenhall
Wow that lighting is awful
I disagree. Perfectly suited for this scene. It felt like I was watching a next-gen Dark Souls game.
