Just got them, only thing I don't like is when you install these correctly, the aqua channeling to me seems like it'll pull water into the middle on one side.
I used to have a set of the triple tread . Best tires I ever owned !!!! The weather ready does not have as good of traction . My triple threads were 80000 mile and I am excellent wear with them . The only complaint I had with them was I lost about 2 - 3 miles per gallon with them because of the extra traction . The weather ready is a good tire but not quite as good as a triple threat was
I thought the opposite, I thought the triple tread was mediocre. Lot's of road noise and terrible in the snow compared to other tires I have had. Not the worst, but not good by any means either
@@Tugboat-xz6gs I never really cared about road noise or comfort that much. I don't pay attention to the difference in the tires as far as road noise or ride comfort. I pay attention more to good traction and those had excellent traction on wet pavement best I've ever seen and they were good in the snow too and ice. Unfortunately they changed the pattern like five different times.
Replacing my Goodyear Tripletred with the Goodyear weatherready tomorrow 11/16/19 because the tripletred were one of the worst tires I ever had extremely bad in the snow, rain and the road noise was so loud. I heard and read very good reviews on the weatherreadys so I decided to try them I will post back in a few months to give my personal review on these.
What kind of vehicle did you have them on ? I had my triple threads on a Grand Prix . I live near Paducah Kentucky . We had an ice storm in 2009 lasted for about 2 weeks even on what ice I went anywhere I wanted to go with those tires . I'm surprised and sorry that you had trouble with them . If you ever have questions about tires in the future . Go to tirerack.com before you buy and check out the tires are thinking about buying . Those people cast of tires out under extreme winter conditions and in dry and wet . And give you a real accurate description of what they can do . I hope the new tires work better for you
What did you end up going with ? I got the cross climate 2 and they are the best tires I have even driven in the snow and rain. Depending on tire size and shopping around these where practically the same price as the Goodyears.
Christopher Chiu was gonna ask this too. I rotate my own tires on my 17 Subaru Forester and would just like to know the rotation pattern I should follow
@@900stx7 Yes They are marked inside and outside but when you install the tires on opposite side the filtering of water is backwards, in other words this directional tire is only made for one direction on one side of the car
They only go one way.. The siping goes inside. You can't screw it up anyways.. As the Writing on the sidewalls always faces out...As there is no white letter\white wall side... So rotation is front to rear..Hope that helps....
I've had it for just about a year, and the tires has been great in snow, wet, and pretty good cornering on dry roads so far so good

I agree. The triple tread was Amazing wish they had never replaced it but noise was a big reason.

What do you think about Goodyear Assurance Comfort Drive?
I've had them on my MKZ for a year and they are absolutely garbage. I'm putting the Weatherready on in a week.

Check your sidewall if they are directional they'll be an arrow showing direction of rotation .
These tires are a asymmetric design.

How are these vs nokian wrg4
I think the Goodyear is going to be smoother and less noisy due to the Nokian has staggered the pattern that long term can cause vibration.
