I want to express how much I’m grateful for your videos. This troubleshooting just saved my reputation and my job plus saved my boss few thousand dollars. All three machines started having problem at the same time, so I bypassed the water filter and “bumm” water level is back to normal and we have ice again after three weeks of not knowing what to do. Your comment embodies my original goal in starting this channel. I’m really happy it helped you out. Bypassing the water filter will help in the short term but you should definitely get the filters changed out so that your machine receives filtered water.

In general , refrigerant charge is seldom the problem. If you have eliminated maintenance, cleanliness, confirmed everything water and electrical is operational, only then even think about the charge. Use temperature probes on your lines, use PT chart to see if you are in the ballpark. If you insist on tapping the schrader valves to check pressures, use stubby analog gauges or probes with a charging tee, not a manifold wih 6' hoses.
yea, Hose clamps have no place on city water pressure lines. especially on beverage tubing which is what he has here. bev. tubing requires a special clamp called an " oetiger clamp " & a special tool to clamp the clamp tight. Beverage tubing is great stuff but u do have to use the correct tool & clamps. Used beverage tubing for many years & yes i do have the beverage clamp tool. works great.
Yes you’re right. They leak pretty often. My setup is temporary so I’m not too worried about it. I should have used an Oetiker clamp. That would have been the correct way to do it.
