I love how you give great recipes along with a lesson in why you’re using a certain ingredient and what that ingredient lends to the overall flavor. Thank youuuuu!!!
Hi Mandy , as a 53 yr old divorced guy , You have certainly opened up my eyes to cooking and how easy it can be instead of basic ramen noodles and grilled chicken . this last few weeks I've made this recipe and your sesame chicken and both were super easy and very tasty , I just added some finely sliced carrot , broccolini & 2 colored peppers (capsicum in my country)
I made this last night but with chicken and also with some Sichuan pepper flavored oil. It has a nice bite and also numbs the tongue some. I didn't have any red onion but some white onion worked just fine! Thanks for another great one!!!
This sounds delicious! Thank you for sharing. I made this tonight for supper. I used less meat (perhaps 400 g), more mushrooms (perhaps 10 oz), and a whole onion. [I used the beef I had on hand, a whole package of king mushrooms and I didn't want onion sitting around unused. Even so, it was delicious! A bit messy - a fair amount of oil splatter from frying the beef - but well worth it. Thank you for such an excellent recipe and video.
Amazing. I made this tonight with sirloin. This is probably in the top 10 best things I've ever cooked. I can't believe I'm only learning this technique now!
Just gotta love all the Chinese stir-frys and quick dishes. Everything is done in 20 mins max, you can do mise en place super quick too, and it tastes like a million bucks - so many great flavor profiles many people never even tasted. I guess cilantro is one of the things that was everywhere and got slightly too much for me, but other than that... lovely cuisine. I mean, like all of them.
Am dubious this takes 20mins! You are so skilled & knowledgeable about great asian cooking, am really both intimidated & hooked watching you. Thank you for sharing your time.
Don't be intimidated, just follow how she does. It doesn't take to long and her recipes are yum yum good. Secret is to make sure you have all the extras prepped and ready to go and wok cooking goes so fast. Good luck and happy dinners
Wow! Yummy! Thank you, I followed your recipe, just made this, and used maple syrup instead of honey, and added xtra Hot Thai chili flakes, and finished off the dish with green onion, and sesame seeds. I really enjoy watching you Videos, always result in tasty satisfaction, and your level precision and edits are pure joy. Thank you for dinner. It helped me with supper tonight after a long work day.
Thank you Mandy for sharing your recipes. I'm making this tonight, yesterday I made cashew chicken; the day before pork and celery! I thank you and my husband thanks you!
Hi beautiful, I have, just now cooked your recipe for my dinner. Absolute genius. I have heard of the addition of Worcestershire sauce to Chinese food, but, I have never done so before. This dish is a new favourite. Thank you for all your hard work. You have taught me so much. x Now back to my dinner.💯
That looks delicious! I love easy Chinese recipes, especially the sauces! They’re the key ingredient! You definitely have great chop stick skills to be able to turn food like that. I’m all thumbs! I’ll invest in the long pliers.
I think you can use Chinese fish sauce instead. Worcestershire is really just the British version of that. And fermented fish sauce goes way back in history. The Romans and other ancient civilizations around the Mediterranean used a fish sauce named "garum." Worcestershire sauce only dates from recent times, the 19th century.
Thank you because I had no idea! I just say it really fast so no one knows what I say, because they don’t know how to pronounce it either! I have to rewind!
You are always so clear and detailed with your directions , you make it look so easy and fun! Can’t wait to make this. The steak in black pepper sauce!
Looks great and unlike alot of videos I was really thinking that the sponsored carbon steel frying pan looks pretty nice, luckily chickens come fully cooked sometimes these days though, lol.
Such a quick, easy dishon a work nite but looks like you spent hrs!! Wow! i've never seen that type of mushroom! Very interesting!! Do they taste like a white mushroom? Im very intrigued! 😊
Hi Mandy. Terrific recipe! Im in the market for a carbon steel pan. I purchased your wok when you first introduced it and I love it. Is there a link to buy this new pan? Thank you!
You have so many great recipes, thank you! What kind of chopstick are you using to cook with? Or maybe better put, what material are they? Thanks! xoxo
Hi Mandy 😊. I love your recipes. They are easy and so tasty. Can you please tell me where I can get the frying pan you used in this recipe. Thanks Lina
We're going to need a bigger pan... this is suitable for about 4 people when served with rice. I have a standard-sized wok that I'd use for about half that much. That would be enough for my GF and me. Unfortunately the food prices continue to go up and beef is getting too expensive, but it would still be cheaper and better than take-out or dining-out.
Good Job, Mandy! But oh no, you got cut off while presenting your new carbon steel frying pan. Please talk about it next week, OK? Take care and stay smiling. 💜💜💜
Flank steak is delicious but absolutely not tender. This dish looks delicious I use similar mix for most of my Asian dishes. I’m sure it will taste great.
Hi Mandy! Thank you for another great weeknight dinner recipe. I have a question about the ceramic chopsticks - can I use them when cooking in a nonstick pan or will it scratch the non-stick coating?
You pronounce "Worcestershire" better than most of Americans do! Most people here just call it "W Sauce" because they have such a hard time pronouncing it.
I know that this is off topic but I finally broke down and bought the souped-up wok. Unfortunately it turned out to be a total disaster. Follow the instructions for seasoning it but it did not matter because everything I tried to cook stuck to the wok. I love your videos and your recipes but unfortunately the wok was a total bust. It went into the trash.
I wonder could you make this omitting the beef. I’d love to cook this for my granddaughter but she is vegan. Perhaps a few other veg to fill it out a bit. Looks too good not to try.
Beef what a relief protein for the brain iron for the blood amnio s for the synapses all around the friend to the body God loves our meat sacrifice in old days and why that smell alone can help our health God grants healthy message through sacrifice of meat to his Honor. Amen.. ☯️☮️🦇🀄🐇☮️🎆📚🎄⚡️🌹🇨🇳🧠

Took me more like an hour, but I'm not a very quick cook.
@Chuck M. As long as you get the result don't worry,I'm not that fast either, did it turn out as you wished?

Good when the wife wants to do some loving. Good for you that you scored big -- in more than one way.
Beautiful recipe.

@@WastrelWay cool story 😂
Made this same day as I saw it. Tasted delicious and very easy in my cast iron skillet. Yummy.
Perfect pronunciation of "worcestershire" sauce

We just "wuss ter" sauce in the uk
But most English words don't need an A at the end!
Love your recipes
I just tried this recipe, but I used sliced bison tenderloin (American buffalo). My northern Chinese (Shenyang/Haerbin) wife was impressed.
Thanks! Made it today. Loved no deep frying was easier to make. So so good!
I'm drooling.
I will certainly try this 😊
Thank you so much! I'm so hungry now!
I love the better than takeout series
Can you provide the link to the frying pan? The video cut off at the end and it is not in your shop??
I use pure maple syrup in place of honey.
Yay, lovely recipe Mandy x
I cooked it today, and its sooooo delicious 😍

Hi again Mandy! I love your Channel!
And Spain on a Fork….the other best channel, to change my taste buds!

Do you have a link to that cool frying pan?🙂
Yumm. Can't wait to try it.
Such a quick, easy dishon a work nite but looks like you spent hrs!! Wow! i've never seen that type of mushroom! Very interesting!! Do they taste like a white mushroom? Im very intrigued! 😊
Please make a recipe on Chinese Yellow Curry! It's my favorite and I'd love to learn the traditional way to make it!
Hi Mandy. Terrific recipe! Im in the market for a carbon steel pan. I purchased your wok when you first introduced it and I love it. Is there a link to buy this new pan? Thank you!
I was thinking exactly the same thing. It looks like a great pan.
Looks delicious🤤
Imma make this
Is the carbon steel pan not available? Except for the wok there are only stainless steel cooking vessels on the website.
I’m going to try this with some bison tenderloin I have on hand. I’ll let you know how it works out.
You have so many great recipes, thank you! What kind of chopstick are you using to cook with? Or maybe better put, what material are they? Thanks! xoxo
😋 All my favourite ingredients in one dish! YUM! 😍
Mandy I would love to buy your carbon steel frying pan but I can't find it!....I do see your wok which I already own
Perfect pronunciation of “Worcestershire”! (At least to my ear 😉)
Awesome 😎 ❤
Yum. Thanks

I’m making this tonight

Carbon steel frying pan? Where is it? I don't see it in your store. Is this a new product? I must know! 😊
Hi Mandy! Thank you for another great weeknight dinner recipe. I have a question about the ceramic chopsticks - can I use them when cooking in a nonstick pan or will it scratch the non-stick coating?
It will leave very slight marks, but not to the point of damaging the coating, just buy the longer and bigger chopsticks for cooking there great.
just use wood/bamboo if not plastic with non-stick
You pronounce "Worcestershire" better than most of Americans do! Most people here just call it "W Sauce" because they have such a hard time pronouncing it.
I saw this redneck on a BBQ video call it "Wash-your-sister sauce" ...
@@WastrelWay Hahahah! Sounds about right!
Isn’t that actually the exact pronunciation? “Wuss-ter-sure”?
@@corpsefoot758 Yep 👍🏻
@@corpsefoot758 Exactly. The "wuss" with a vowel like in wood
I will try it but I have green pepper here, so I will grind the pepper in my mortar and see if the taste is good. Cross fingers for me.

vegans don't need other people to cook for them, probably prefer so.
