    This is an informal editing video, I share my process of how I edit some product photos I took from practice shoots. I'm still learning and am by no means an expert in Photoshop! I though it'd be fun to show you the behind the scenes of how I achieved the final look of these photos :)

    When editing, make sure you have another Layer where you can edit on it instead of the "Background" layer
    Also, lovin photos :)

    • @AileenChoiPhoto
      @AileenChoiPhoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're totally right! I have to get into the habit of doing that haha thanks for the tip!

      @WegmansLover 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AileenChoiPhoto even better than that just make an empty layer that sits above the background layer and use that for cleaning up. You don't even have to duplicate the pixel layer. Saves space on the file.

    Hey, just wondering what method you are using at 3:08, I see your using the content aware move tool but it doesn't look like your actual moving your selection but content aware filling it, Im not sure how to do this so quickly without creating a whole new window for the content aware fill

    • @AileenChoiPhoto
      @AileenChoiPhoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was using the content aware tool, I think I press the enter button quickly so the window doesn't have a chance to pop up but it is just to agree to the action of content aware.

    Great video! How did you light these photos?

    • @AileenChoiPhoto
      @AileenChoiPhoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I used an off camera flash as a strobe for both of these photos. The flash was on a stand to the left, up high pointing down and I used a white foam board on the right to bounce the light

    Great video !! But what’s the reasoning for editing out the branding name ? (:

    • @AileenChoiPhoto
      @AileenChoiPhoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've come to realize that it's not necessary haha I just didn't want to get in trouble for using their product in my photos without 'permission' but I've seen lots of people use big brands in their photos so I don't think it's an issue! As long as you're not pretending you are affiliated with them, I think it's fine :)

    Loved this vid. Why do you remove the brand name?

    • @AileenChoiPhoto
      @AileenChoiPhoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I removed the brand name so I can use these images in my portfolio, I want to avoid any issues with the brand in case my images don't reflect their brand in the way they want. Hope that makes sense!

  • @corgikun2579

    awful retouching, please don't touch photoshop, you're literally ruining the original photos
