    Don’t blame the ageing population who have always paid in for nhs treatment including dentists, it’s because there are millions more people arriving in the country! That’s why everything is falling behind, the queue is too long!

      I bet we will have hundreds of Nigerians coming in pretending to be dentists like the nurses. I’m being racist when it comes to my health. It’s going to make a lot more.

      NHS needs overseas workers to function or there would be no NHS.Who to blame here? British people who don't want to work instead prefer to live on benefits or immigrants who come to UK legally to keep NHS running who pays taxes and visa fees to govt? You guys are crying out loud for dentists and when government try to give you some dentists you don't want them.

    Now they want to make pharmacists into Drs.God help us.

    I'm lucky i have a great NHS dentist, but i do feel bad for those who don't but this isn't the best way to solve this issue to have dentist that aren't fully qualified to just fill spaces for patients. its not aging population or sugar consumption, we all know tne real reason why demand is high and its not just cause of brits.

    At one time both my GP and dental surgeries were staffed by white British. Now they're almost totally staffed by South Asians. Still I'm grateful to have the facilities.

    Having nearly 1M immigrants, both legal and illegal, in the country does not help with this nor Doctors' surgeries either, it's not friggin rocket science. I'm 55 and paid into the system all my life, I'm at the start of being the aging population, don't you friggin dare blame me for the state of this.

    Checks should be tightened. You can see standards on the floor everywhere, especially in health. I have zero confidence in the NHS and who works in it. When they strike, it sends out volumes on the quality of people now working in it.

  • @shelleyphilcox4743
    @shelleyphilcox4743 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    This is very, very bad. Everyone in practice must reach professional skill and ethics standards of the UK, to make sure they deliver appropriate safe care, and those coming from overseas should not be able to avoid the same standards and tests domestically trained dentists have to meet. We train people from all over the world in our universities and thrpugh professional training in the NHS to be dentists and they all sit the same standard degrees, professional training and CPD before going into practice!

    I am absolutely disregarded with this dentist!! I think that he use as a excuse because the dentists who are working here are not interested in another dentist coming to working here.in another's countries if you have 5 years programme in your european university , and you have been working for 3 years you receive your full registration or if you have 5 years degree for any part of the world and you have granted with homologation in any EU country and have been working 3 years you will receive your bully registration.

    Entrance exams are not training. Unless foreign-trained dentists go to college in the UK. What training is given when they appear for entrance exams?>>> Take a dentist only with 10 + years of experience without taking the entrance exams.

    This so wrong. Dentists are using invasive procedures so do need to have the relevant standard of the UK dentists so need to take a British examination to check their credentials not just bring a certificate as proof. How many times has there been reports of medics falsifying their qualifications.
