X Japans live performances of this are AMAZING but unfortunately the videos often get blocked). Show Ya did a shortened version here while Nemophila covered the full song. That second song is actually from their latest album that was just released last year with all of them being almost 60 years old by now. They still organize the Naon No Yaon festival exclusively for female artists yearly and also play there themselves. There is even videos of Show Ya members joining up with members of various other bands on stage to play some songs together (like Nemophila, Princess Princess, Mary's Blood, Gacharic Spin, ....)
Sometimes I worry about the longevity of the current cohort of bands and then Show-Ya comes out with a banger of an album in their late 50s and that worry doesn't seem so pertinent any longer.

They were inspired by bands like the Beatles, Stones, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, whose tours of Japan in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s triggered the birth of Japanese rock music. The big door-openers for them, however, were the Runaways, an American all-female hard rock band that never made it big in the U.S. but were received with Beatlemania-like excitement in Japan. Show-Ya’s early work was mostly covers of the aforementioned bands as well as others including KISS and AC/DC. In the mid-1980’s they began releasing and performing their own material, and never looked back. The fact that Show-Ya were not bigger in the U.S. is an indictment of the U.S. music establishment, which repeatedly turned down opportunities to promote them here. This was written by Rick Neilsen of Cheap Trick but never released.
