    It’s incredible that’s chips already could be condensed in such small size back in the 80’s. Thanks for showing this.

    Very nice fix :) I have similar one screen game, but mine is made by Q&Q and it's a King Kong game. Got it as a kid for Christmas 1983 and it's still working, altough at one point it had connection problem. Ultimately I found that it just had loose battery connector and after I fixed that, it's been working reliably again for years now :)

      There were some great games came out in the 80's I was a schoolboy at the time. I've repaired quite a few different games from around that time on here.

      @@BuyitFixit I don't remember the highscore, but it could take hours.
      And at some point it won't get any faster, you just have to stay focused.
      It was the only one of its kind we had in my family, I wanted DonkeyKong but never got it, it was far too expensive. 😁
      I'd take it in a heartbeat if I found one at a garage sale today.

    Last night i went through my box of broken to look at things and was shocked at how many things I had thrown in that weren't really broken but just needed a cleaning. I say that because it seems so many things are like that from ebay.

    Magic, I used some India Pale Ale to clean the contacts on my TV Remote, it did an amazing job. (Not really, used the Alcohol stuff) I was surprised how much dirt came off it. The TV is about Third hand though.

    Nice repair, but you have the screen with the trees in backward. The helicopter shouldn't be crashing into the top of the tree. The shortest tree goes to the right.

    Im sorry but this is not the whole truth. You fixed it before making the video first and then made this video. Or maybe there are two different internals involved. Why do I say so? When you opened the game the board and the rubber wire and lcd screen came separate so easy! It would not if this was an all authentic. The board and LCD stick very well over the years.

    • @BuyitFixit
      @BuyitFixit  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Perhaps the previous owner opened it? Or had someone else look at it? You never know the history of an item when you buy something from Ebay.
