    I actually had a kid take lessons from me on guitar that had something like this that wanted to play drums so bad he managed to get decent on it, so I had to explain to his folks that he deserved a real kit for managing thru sheer blunt force. They didn't want the noise so I had to explain what an electric drum kit ACTUALLY was, and they got him one.
    He got good enough on the real electric kit that they finally got him an actual kit of drums and he's like 13 or 14 now absolutely killing it
    I'm waiting to hire him for a gig lol

    • @BewareTheLilyOfTheValley
      @BewareTheLilyOfTheValley 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +127

      Aww! Thank you for informing them of an alternative. Lots of parents can be hesitant to get kids into instruments (assuming they can afford them. Mine couldn't 😂) because of the noise and months or years of listening to the kid playing terribly. The electric kit though gave him the space to make mistakes quietly and they got to enjoy a quieter house. Happy though they didn't just stop there and actually got him a proper kit. Maybe we'll be hearing about this legendary drummer in the future. Thank you for encouraging him to keep progressing 😊

    Fun fact about the headphone plug on the pedals: That's the standard connection for accessibility devices. Ong. it's truly horrible.I personally think that drumming or really playing any instrument with that kind of delay would be worse because you tend to rely on timing more.

    you have to use it as a floor mat for your feet in the drum streams, and keep it on.

    The delay is like that thing where you put earphones on and talk into your phone, and the phone plays back your words delayed... and you can't speak anymore. :)))

    You probably might never see this comment but, in my school we have a mint condition pearl export kit with a mix of sabian and paiste cymbals, but the funny thing is that we also have another drum kit, the one that I use. It's full on Jin baos and meinel symbals, now the meinel symbols are awesome but the jun baos, not so much. I show my music teacher your channel and she literally went out of her way to buy another pearl export kit for me. I didn't even ask for this but she is so awesome that she wanted me to learn on good drums just like the other kid using the drums. Have a good day and I wish the best for you

    I think the delay could be from the fact they are on a soft surface, i.e. it could be less if you tried placing them on the floor. Great review anyways

      Nah, it is probably the BT speaker. Latency is real bad on BT speakers, with through AUX.

    To be fair, your Bluetooth speaker likely has a delay on its aux input. Super common for BT speakers to actually run analog input through the BT circuitry which adds latency.
