This is quite an easy way to change the fluid. If your current coolant is not too bad, the dilution is less of a problem. Not having to bleed is a big blessing too. One thing to keep in mind is to use distilled or demineralized water. The chloride and carbonate in normal water are pretty bad for the metal in the engine, especially at operating temperature. Thank for the test 👍🏻
I did the same thing to dilute my gt. The tank looks the same and yes I did break the nozzle. Managed to glued it with mesh since i couldn't get 1 at the time, and honestly lasted for many years. Just changed for a new coolant tank and flushed it again. Just kinda hv to watchout for the level since air could get in unexpectedly. Awesome video appreciate the pro and con. I always enjoy watching your channel
Was the heater on? I prefer to use the heater hose in using an external container and catch the old coolant in another container to see what comes out from the engine. Good video thank you. we all can learn from these videos.

Welcome, thanks for the input, 147 is not too bad to bleed, but there are cars which can be a nightmare, so this method would be a lifesaver

Which pliers do you use to close the clamp?
These are my grandfather's pliers, they must be more than 50 years old, but they are perfect for the job. Guess they are not available anymore
@@arcgarageI use the same. They are old and my father called them 'pincers'.
Great video as ever, i have only 1 question, why G11?
Thanks, those are the specs
