Hi been here 16 years, the only trouble in Mindanao is eating at some fine restaurants an putting on some weight, Rob is speaking the truth about his place and local areas
I'm still learning, but I hear to stay away from Mindanao. But I also hear Davao is one of the safest cities. You two also seem to be running around without any fear. So how often is there trouble in Mindanao?
@@carsonc1272 There was an American kidnapped just a couple months ago, but that was in Zamboanga. The muslim areas have semi active Abu Sayyaf members and the interior has some lingering Maoist communist insurgents. It's mostly be been peaceful in recent years but there are areas that you should avoid if you aren't from there. In past years there has been full on sieges of major cities and areas that received air strikes from government airplanes while fighting guerrillas. Just a couple years ago terrorists bombed a church on a campus, so it's not completely peaceful despite the agreements. Martial law was actually declared in 2017 (lasting for just a few months) and there are numerous military and police checkpoints.
@@FlyMeToThePhilippines a car is not the answer especially when you live in the mountains. A SUV is because it’s high off the ground. A Toyota fortuner I’ve had a couple over the years or a Nissan Terra which I have now both great vehicles. You can never go wrong with a Toyota. Never ever buy a Korean car #1 poor quality #2 they don’t hold there value. Don’t be fooled by price or flashy looking with a Korean car.
With great thought, since you have an outstanding rental with great views stay where you are but I would keep your 👀 eyes open for a great lot and buy it. There will be no downside. If you ever decide to build you can if not it will always go up in value plus you can always leave it to your wife a plus plus. Yes I’m a crazy follower. You’re thinking who is this guy.
I’m an Aussie married to a Phillipina. We live and work in Aus. We live at Main Beach Gold Coast, Queensland. Which is possibly the best real estate on the planet, but we are looking at a farm/ holiday home preferably in the cebu/ Leyte region. So we can help out my wife’s family, etc. We already lease a copra farm for them for some income, but would be nice to have something more permanent. Preferably a block near the sea/ mountain (non land slide). I’m happy for a building project. Willing to talk to genuine people wanting to sell registered unencumbered land.
Hi, QUESTION: I‘m in Cebu City IT Park in a air bnb now and looking for girls that are about 20 Years Old, but close to this sugbo mercado almost only teenagers jump around, where and when do I have to go to see the „gozillians“ 🤡 of working philippinas coming out of the buildings you talked about once? I went to a few of these type of Mountain View’s between Iligan city and CDO mountain Sinai was one. Was great views but thought I might get a little bored 🥱 😮😊

Davao is on Mindanao, we are on the north west coast of Mindanao and it is very safe in the Butuan area
No problem in Northern Mindanao
@@duanebock840 Thanks... So it's fair to say that whatever problems Mindanao has is localized? What happened for it to get such a poor reputation?
We have a yellow zone and Red zone, Davao was just lowered to level 2 use caution. Acapulcos is a level 4

By the way it’s about time you buy an SUV. Yes they are expensive but that’s part of life.
Giving it some serious thought

I hope you find the perfect land for your dream home in the Philippines!
convoluted way to look for property. May want to stick to paved or dirt roads unless you have 4x4
Thanks for the suggestion.
