    Sorry if you have ever covered this and I have missed it but have tried the nuetech tubeless set up?

    Im surpised yhe spaces in between stay the same. I woukd expect them to move and group together. But i love the idea. Im probably going to cut up a bunch of old mousse to try and achieve the same type of thing until they need to be replaced.

    I have started riding again after 20 years. This technology didn’t exist back then. Very interested since I seem to be riding a lot of high elevation rocky trails on the Colorado front range. How often are you taking these apart and relubing them? Thanks!

    Brother, are you running Mouse Balls up front too? are they really worth the premium price vs Nitro Mousse if so why . Perhaps you could explain a little ... are you still on your original set of M. Balls... maybe time to do a long term detailed review, I think we all would like to hear how they stack up to a nitro mousse - thanks man

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Great idea. Will do soon but to answer your questions. Yes I run them up front and yes they are worth it. The reason is that they feel better than nitro platinum’s (squishy but not squirmy) and they last longer than either the platinum or the plush. I have at least 80hrs on one set and they are going strong.

    Do these balance well? I used different products in tires, many made things wacky at high speeds.

    Hey Morgan, doing a front wheel install of mousse balls, should I put them all in the tire, they all fit with no space, I like 12 psi feel up front, I dont like the squirm of normal mousse as you stated you don't like also... so with that said did you install all of the balls in the front tire? directions say they give 2 extras... however this will leave some gaps

    Brother , sorry one more question, with the M. Balls can you get that 6-9psi feel like you can with a nitro plushie rear ? ...or do the M. balls get weird feeling with larger 1.5" spacing?

    @richmondpd ปีที่แล้ว +2

    *****As far as removing them..I was thinking if you cut an old tube and used it before you put the balls in you could remove one ball and then grab the tube and pull it causing the rest of the balls to come out easier. Just a thought, I have zero experience with them.

  • @MichaelAbramo
    @MichaelAbramo ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I wonder whether you could pop the bead on one side and add/remove balls as needed without totally removing the tire. Just like you would when replacing a tube on the trail. My club has a vendor sponsor that sells them now so I went through them. I bought 2 sets. One for each wheelset.

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@onthethrottle7104 I am not a fan of having air in tires if I don’t have to. I know that Tubliss can work but I have had it fail and I’ve seen plenty of failures. I also don’t like to check two pressures per wheel every ride. I’m a bit lazy that way. On top of all of that I love the way mousses (balls or whole ones) feel. They are dead feeling (no bounce) so they keep the wheels on the ground in the rough stuff at speed. The real thing is finding what suits you and sticking with it. For me it’s mousses.
