I don’t play much beat down, but I hate when people say it’s low skill, yes you’re placing less cards and at a slower rate, but that just means that every card you put down is that much more important and that mistakes will be more costly

They never played beatdown then. I 've been playing golem from the very first day. 5500 this season. It is frustrating and it takes sooooo long to power up the right cards. Deck composition is always 1 mega minion and then 7 fu***ing Epics and Legendary for God sake. I still have level 12 poison and baby Dragon...While idiots can just spam hog riders and wins with commons and rares only. Tsk

Royal is a total beast. I was watching CRL and one of his matches was him using a Golem deck against three musketeers with a pump and he still won....I was amazed. He had didn't have the elixir advantage and he looked so calm during that whole match. That's exactly how I want to play.
Yea, one thing you definitely notice about Royal is how he is ALWAYS so calm. Probably a huge factor in his success at live events like CRL.

Pekka battleram poison, golem, and 2.6 are my three favorite decks for 1v1 battles. Really nice to see a super strong player give tips on this one. The pump poison comment was really insightful because spelling pumps can be so reflexive. Great video as usual Ash, and thanks to Royal.

hello Ash! an idea that i had.. why not adding a notification when someone in the clan is looking for a war deck practice just like when someone is looking for a 2v2 partner or maybe even replace it for the war practice notification.

Golem it’s not low skill. Check the first match once again everyone. And the second match when the opponent pushes with three musk and battle ram. The defense was flawless! It requires skill not to overcommit with your troops and build slowly the definitive attack with the golem. I am not especially a golem player, but from what I saw at royale it requires a lot of skill. Congrats Ash for this video, it’s one of my favorite. Thank u so much for this deck I have been suffering to get to silver league for like a month always being one win away and then choking 5 games. But this deck helped me to end up full getting to silver without choking. Thank you so much
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I just maxxed golem and have switched to almost the exact deck royale is playing. I'm not using barb barrel cause my level is to low. I'm using a max zap in it's place. Should I stay with that, or switch to log. Since log sucks now, I haven't leveled it up. It's only 11. I'm working like crazy to level barb barrel. Please bring royale back on before season ends. As the meta evolves I want to know what he's playing.
I would switch to Low personally.. I still think Log is a great card. I don't feel like Zap is super important in this deck because you have Night Witch bats to help out with IT. At the end of the day go with what you're comfortable with and don't be afraid to play test a bit :) Good luck!

Or it was coincidence that number one kyrios left his clan and from 7000-7244 played in total 13games and 8 of them was vs Nova Esports which actually he won all of them, so 70%.

I honesty don't know and haven't looked into it. I find it boy eye raising if what you say is true (looks very bad) but also odd that Nova would win trade when they had the only players and clan in contention at the end of the season in terms of placing high on the leaderboards.

I just fought someone with this exact same deck 5 min ago. I did win, but with only 400hp left of my princess tower. So this golem deck was really a nice one.
My deck: tornado, poison, inferno tower, executioner, mega knight, ice wizard, electro wizard, Miner.
This is my primary deck, not a deck I created only to defeat this deck
So the classic lightning golem deck could have wrecked me better than this golem deck against my deck in my opinion

I still haven't found my "favorite" deck this meta for ladder. I feel like the strongest Golem deck probably includes E-drag (could say the same about every deck I guess) and I don't have mine leveled up just yet.

royal is such a beast, would love to see you, if given the opportunity with future crl world guests, to ask maybe who they're excited or interested to face, especially on the asian team side.
I think you should keep poison in every (almost) matchup as long as you canbecause it‘s possible, that your opponent has something to punish you for wasting your poison.
And as a long time Gollum Player i can give the advice to let Fall your Tower in some situations and just use your troops on the other side of your King Tower, to Support your gollum, for that your opponent did actually punish you. This is something you should just do if you‘re shure, your opponent hasn‘t perfect defense, for example executioner + nado.

Yeah ofc golem decks composition : Mega Minion + 7 Epics or Legendary. Good luck on powering them up. While hog riders and giants decks with only common and rares climb the ladder. Fantastic. Good job. Nice.

The current meta seems relatively stale since the balance changes. I feel like I’ve mostly just seen miner poison decks, with a few bait decks here and there. However, I have also noticed a lot of golem decks. Makes sense you’d share this one!

So he says you should upgrade the Megaminion and the Babydragon first because they are in every Golem Deck but he does not explain or make any suggestions why you should do this, a bit more of card explaining would be nice so people can understand why they are so good in this type of decks
He said you should upgrade them first because they're the cards that are always used in Golem decks, no matter the meta or balance changes. What more should I ask next time? I thought the answer was pretty clear.
@@ChatWithAsh Yes i know this already, the point i was making is that he should have maybe explained a bit more why they are used in Golem Decks above other cards. For example he could have said you should upgrade the babydragon first because its one of the best golem support units, it survives almost every spell in the game and his area of effect attack keeps your golem safe from enemys swarm troops.
I know that a lot of people already know about this stuff but it would be more beginner friendly for the people who aren't veterans in CR :D

I prefer to backup my golem with the executioner. He moves slow, so I drop him behind my towers. As he reaches the bridge I drop the golem.
From there I play it as it comes. I also have arrows, log, bandit, and E-wiz, with a Tesla for defense. Sometimes I'll sub the arrows for poison.
