    I find your vlogs super helpful as I plan to visit in summer '22. Can you clarify "quarantine math" a bit for me? I'll use extreme examples for emphasis and assume it remains 7 days when I get there (hopefully none but being realistic):
    1. Scenario 1: 7/1/22 Flight arrives 5 am local time; arrive at quarantine hotel later that day - this is day zero. 7/2 - 7/8 (the "7 full days"). 7/9/22 - I get to leave by standard hotel check out time?
    2. Scenario 2: 7/1/22 Flight arrives 8 pm local time; arrive at quarantine hotel in middle of the night (possibly even after date switch) - does the "clock" start at the airport or once I'm checked into my hotel room? You see where I'm going with this - I'm wondering if I can shave almost a full day of day zero quarantine by my flight arriving as late in the day as possible

    • @MaliaRamos
      @MaliaRamos  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. Day 1 is the day you arrive so you’re in the hotel from 7/1-7/7 and check out 7/8 in the morning
      2. Hmmm I’m not sure if they would change it if you arrive at night but if they follow the same timeline then the quarantine clock starts the day you check into the hotel

    Hi im going to South Korea soon! I was wondering how you left the hotel and got to your final destination? Like, did you take a taxi or bus or something else? I heard that taxi's are harder to find now-a-days in Korea. I remember you saying that your hotel was kinda far from Seoul I think, so I'm just wondering if that was an issue for you.
    I went to Korea two other times and one time I almost got stuck leaving a subway terminal with my bags since my bag was too big for the turnstile. I don't wanna worry about that happening again so I want to take a taxi when I arrive and when I leave, but I'm worried getting a taxi is hard to do now. How was your experience ?

    Hello! When you did your quarantine and they lowered quarantine from 10 days to 7 days, were you allowed to leave earlier and if so, did they pay the difference?
    They announced friday (11 March) that they are removing forced quarantine from 21st of March for Korean people that are vaccinated or foreign people that have their vaccination registered in Korea.
    For foreign people that do not have vaccination registered in Korea, the forced quarantine is being removed from 1st of April if you’re fully vaccinated.
    I’m landing 28th of March and i have to quarantine 7 days, so i will be “done” 4-5 april.
    That’s why i want to know if this happend to you, then maybe there is hope for me only having to stay a couple days and not a week 😂.

There was even a krispy kreme but wasn't open early. Buy all the extra food and drinks there, you can even get a sim card there. I have been in and out of Korea 4 times during covid, and honestly I think the process is actually getting worse, and with 9pm curfews - don't come, Korea is awful on any given day and covid just makes it all the worst. Go to Thailand where covid is actually under control.
