Have a great trip. Here's my blog about entering Mexico in January 2022: www.tripswithangie.org/2022/01/what-do-you-need-to-enter-cancun-mexico.html?m=1
@@alexquinton5462 the trip was awesome! Definitely book preferred if you can it’s definitely worth it. You get more accommodations, such as private check in and check out, as well as a preferred bar and breakfast at capers, which is an Italian restaurant. You get access to an adult only pool which is so relaxing. And you have a huge room with your own jacuzzi tub on the balcony. I booked a preferred ocean view king with my boyfriend. The resort is pretty spacious and the food is good. I would say that my favorite spots were Capers, the Italian restaurant and Mercure, which is a French restaurant. There are also a lot of activities to do throughout the day. Just be aware of the sun. I personally did not get in the pool until after 3 because it can be very hot so load up on sunscreen.

@@TripswithAngie a few things first it is all easily walkable to get to food, pools, bars, spa lobby. Second the staff there is fantastic n can't do enough for u. Third for the most part the food there is very, very good. Fourth the rooms r all a nice size but we love the preferred rooms they r large n the balconies r nice sized with a jacuzzi on it. Fifth the preferred check in lobby is great n has top shelf liquors n snacks. Sixth the pool sizes r great for families n the quiet preferred pool is fantastic. N once again the people who work there r fantastic. Sitting in the preferred lounge I told my husband I wish I certain coffee from CoCo n next thing I knew the waiter in the lounge stood there holding it for me.
Some of the renovations already took place like the addition of the slides. I think it'll be more of a refresh than full renovation. You really got a great deal. I noticed the rates at the other resorts went up after it switched to Dreams.
Absolutely. I offer custom recommendations report based on the needs and wants of your family for $150. Email Angie@tripswithangie.com to request an invoice.

Getting married there in December! Excited for all the changes!
Congrats!
Nice review, can you speak more to the beach? In the video, it didn't have that clear blue look that I'd expect at a Cancun resort.
Riviera Maya beaches don't have the clear blue you'd find in the Hotel Zone of Cancun. The sand is more brown than white so it reflects a darker blue.
This is my favorite resort when we r there but we also like Dreams Rivera Cancun n Now Sapphire.
What pushes Dreams Jade to the top spot?

The staff make such a difference. I absolutely agree about the Preferred Rooms - they really make this resort stand out.
Angie- how was the food there??
This was a tour so I didn't eat.
Do u have a video of Dreams Dominicus La Romana? I really want to see the swim out rooms!
I don't. I haven't been there yet.
Is Now Sapphire going to be renovated 1n 185 days?
Love the video Angie, another homerun!!

Would you still recommend preferred club with kids? And do they have a sofa pull out?
The sofas do not pull out. With kids, I recommend a family suite.
Did you prefer this all inclusive or the el dorado? I’m torn between the two and wondered which you preferred from the two !
El Dorado - I'll always pick adults only
Hi Angie! Between this resort (dreams jade) & El Dorado Resort that you visited …(in cancun) which do you prefer?
I'll always pick an adults only resort.
I'm looking at this resort and few others but do you have any suggestions about any other resorts that would be good for 2 year old
Absolutely. I offer custom recommendations report based on the needs and wants of your family for $150. Email Angie@tripswithangie.com to request an invoice.
Why did you not show the beach? Why do you hide the awful algae plague?
I do show the beach. The saragassum wasn't there during my visit. Please share the link to your resort tour showing the beach and awful algae plague.
