The Chevrolet Spark is a city car manufactured by General Motors's subsidiary GM Korea, currently in its fourth generation. The vehicle was initially developed by Daewoo and was introduced in 1998 as the Daewoo Matiz. In 2002, General Motors purchased Daewoo Motors, which had the vehicle being marketed with several GM marques and nameplates. The third generation was predominantly marketed under its Chevrolet brand, including in North America as the Chevrolet Spark and in Australia and New Zealand as the Holden Spark Barina. The fourth generation was launched in 2015, and also known as the Holden Spark in Australia and New Zealand. It also serves as the basis for the Opel Karl in Europe, Vauxhall Viva in the UK, and VinFast Fadil in Vietnam, the latter being manufactured under license.

The fourth-generation Spark, internally designated M400, was styled under the direction of GM Global Design Chief Michael Simcoe, debuted at the April 2015 New York International Auto Show and went on sale in the fourth quarter of 2015. Rebadged variants were marketed as the Holden Spark in Australia and New Zealand, the Opel Karl in Europe, Vauxhall Viva in the UK, and VinFast Fadil in Vietnam produced under license. These nameplates feature revised instrument panel styling, revised side swaging and a small quarter light in the rear door, displacing the high-mounted rear door handles of the Spark.

Chevrolet plans to discontinue the Spark in North America after the 2022 model year, with production ending in August. The Chevrolet Spark was the United States and Canada's least expensive car on sale. Production for South Korea is scheduled to cease in October 2022.

I have the same shape one since 2017. I just have the base model with CVT. I've had no issues with mine at all, everything still feels like new. Engine is quite powerful for the class of car its in.

I just came home from dropping off my Spark rental. It was vary basic and that’s a treat for me. The CVT was correct and the engine was good and not buzzy. It was just right for its type car.
My 2017 Spark has been a workhorse. I have only replaced the tires and air filter. The turbo is the best part of the car. It is slow at first then the turbo kicks in. I am considering getting another one if I can't get the Nissan Kicks.
Been using it since 2019. No problem so faaaar! Very underrated!

I was so happy my rental was a American car and not something less substantial.

Я с Казахстана у меня были универсалы, пассат, опель астра, опель астра G, но эта машинка меня просто удивила. У меня шевроле спарк м300 2011г. Брал привозной с Южной Кореи в 2013г. С пробегом 30000км. И до сих пор ездию на ней, она моя рабочая лошадка, я ее не собираюсь продавать состояние у нее до сих пор отличное. Просто слегка освежить надо покрасив, но ни где нет ржавчины, до сих пор из ходовой больше половины все родное. Я сам мастер на все руки и скажу что ходовая у нее очень прочная и простая по ремонту. У меня в городе плохие и она их выдерживает. У меня объем 1,0л. механика, бензин двигатель до сих пор работает как часики хотя у нас бензин плохого качества. Но я стараюсь заливать на хороших заправках и строго 95бензин хотя его бывает нет приходится заливать 92бензин. Грузоподьемность у нее очень хорошая, много чего перевозил внутри и на крыше рейлингов. Жаль что на новой модели нет рейлингов на крыше, я на них много чего перевозил. Соседу 5-межкомнатных дверей привез домой из чистого дерева в упаковке без проблем. Внутри я много раз перевозил муку по 50кг, 6-7мешков и еще пассажир спереди, она все выдержит. Я до сих пор пружины не менял, движок очень экономичный и не капризный только хороший бензин заливай и масло 5-30W во время меняй.
Никогда не было проблем с двигателем, да и остальное все работает до сих пор. Кондиционер, печка и другое все отлично работает, не разу ничего не ремонтировал за все годы. Только радиатор печки поменял сам в том году и все, эта машина меня кормит. Ни разу меня не подводила в дороге, зимою заводится с первого раза. Фары светят отлично, хотя лампы у меня стоят простые, недорогие. Короче классная машина, люблю я ее, очень маневренная и устойчивая на резких поворотах. Тормоза просто класс как спортивные, хотя у нее с зади обычные барабаны!

Yes it will be discontinued sometime this year. I don't think there will be issue with parts since the Chevy Sail stopped production since 2018.
Last na yan .. GM said Discontinued na Spark.

I didn't give the fuel reading it was still too high since it was the first test drive of the day.

Not really sure about parts for this Spark. All I keep hearing/seeing that people are mostly complaining about the Old Trailblazers. I rarely hear about part issues with this Spark so this should be fine!
