I hope that you guys enjoyed the full process of me creating some 1% assets from scratch and also that it was able to help you learn something about optimizing! Please stay tuned for the follow up video tomorrow where I'll be making my 1% scene out of these assets :)
Always learn a ton from the tutorials and tips you put out there. This has me thinking of new ways I can re-do some of my assets to lower the thermo and make them more remix friendly for others. 👍🏻
This is really nice. If you posted the whole video I would just let it play in the background. It has a interestingly motivational effect on me. Makes me want to create. Thank you for sharing!
I hate how imprecise the controls are for the game. You make it seem so effortless, while I spend so much time just using the interface and moving around.
Jesus, like always a great job. 👍✌️ What I wonder about is if someone already has made a game with just this 1% thermo assets, like a shooter, racing or whatever genre. And what I wonder most is, if there is/are such a game, how good or bad does it looks like 😅
Do you have the motion sense on or off when you sculpt? I keep having tracking issues when I try to sculpt with the motion sense on and I was thinking about switching to controller stick imp movement. Any tips?
Sakku, I have recently bought dreams because it intrigued me a lot, I surfed a lot of dreams and I'm also learning how to create my owns, but, everytime I take a closer look to any surface, regardless of it's material, I notice that it's made up of a pile of squares. It's a limitation of the dreams engine or people just use the same assets over and over again? I haven't seen a smooth surface yet so far.
Dreams doesn't use polygons, but point clouds kind of a voxel called flecks, so close up you will always see them. But that doesn't stop ppl from making awesome art in Dreams. ❤️ Besides Sakku see Martin Nebelong, Ian Henderson AKA Insaneartist, Badrobo etc
@@eddieandersson5570 I know badrobo, I've seen his videos about a realistic forest and that's pretty insane. What had me questioning about those flecks was that from some video on TH-cam about Dreams (like those from badrobo), I never noticed those flecks, maybe because of the video compression, so I was curios about them.
Cool assets ! Little question here at 5:41 Wouldn't have been more optimized if you kept sculpting the pipe in sculpt mode rather than cloning it outside sculpt mode ? I know it would've take much longer to do but would it not have save a little bit of gameplay thermo ?
Thank you, wait for the scene that I'm building with it! ;D Also to your question: You might be right that it would save up gameplay thermo in that way but this challenge is about 1% graphics thermo and also all assets that were created have 1% graphics and gameplay thermo still :p

Very cool
We like this 100%
i can watch these timelapses all day, love your work 👍🏻
Super happy to hear since I'll have a lot more coming within the next weeks! :D

This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much, Sakku, you're always the best!

Love it. We make al our sculps for ourselfs also and i have to say most of the time we also stay on a 1%. Love to try to keep it as low as possible.
Loved this, music was really chilled and the assets you made were awesome
Can't wait to see the next part :D
very excited to see the next video!

Really helpful dude, I appreciate it!
Hi great job you inspire me
Thank you, happy that I'm able to inspire you! :)
You might consider changing your channel name to “A Beautiful Mind”.
Can you do a whole environment that looks good but still uses little thermo space
When subtracting from the rock with the little sphere, is that surface locked?
Yes
@@Jroobelucios Thankyou.
I'm a big fan of Dreams and also how patient the community is with noobs like me.
@@Beestification you’re welcome. I’m still somewhat of a noob myself but we all start somewhere! Well, I wish you the best. Dream on!

Might be a controller issue

Do you regain thermo by covering up those detailed bits on the rock?
Cool assets !

@@SakkusMind Oh that challenge lol I see I see
Is it possible to see this video in realtime?
Sadly the gameplay thermo is always an issue
This needs to come to pc so badly.
@@isaac-of-some-sort you wouldn't need motion controls on pc
Too bad that they made it exclusive
