Well what do you know. I was playing with fire effects in dreams yesterday for my side project and here we got a fire tutorial from the great Sakku himself. Seeing this I see I clearly need some move controllers for myself but there is a way to get a nice clean wavyness with a controller I discovered yesterday. But moves seems way better. If I could add a suggestion. To give the look of the light of the fire bouncing on and off objects use a signal generator and attach it to the Glow on/off button. and adjust the signal generator rate timing to 1 or 0 and you can give the light a nice light flicker.
@@SakkusMind yes you are right but I still regard it as texturing because that's what texturing is In games. It's just a digital painting or a photograph.
Someone in sony or Microsoft let this man help create the next great titles that will play and be seen through our lives for the next 8 years of this new console generation. You're making me want to buy this for my ps5 and try and create games but this doesnt look as easy as you're making it look
Very useful video, Sakku. I had already came up with this technique following your old tutorials about rain and leaves falling. Once more you showed us the power of the drawing mode! Anyway since I've been focusing just on animation and sculpts I wanted to ask you if is there a way to apply some kind of "wind effect" to sculptures as well also without being forced to animate them. I mean, let's pick a sculpted tree for example, is there a way to let it move like if it's pushed by wind without having to animate it manually? Maybe there is some gadget related to logic section of Dreams which can apply that effect? Is there some tricky way to apply effects mode to sculpts also? Keep doing these great videos!
Thank you very much I'm happy that I was able to help yoz with my videos :) Also there sadly isn't any way of making wind effects to 3D in that way.. (at least not as I know) you will always need to keyfreame/action record that :/

Really great tutorial mate, hadn't been commenting for a long long time but watched nearly all of your tutorials. I'm currently trying to do my own things again in Dreams and I hope they turn out well. I would love to see some anime asset tutorials if you are able to do them. Like rocks, grass, plants, trees and what else there can be done. Would appreciate if you could make a small tutorial on it. Have a great day. ✌️

Metal tutorial perhaps? You could even go over different types of metals such as rougher metals and shinier ones.
