      Hi,

      It's great to hear that you are looking to support someone with their epilepsy. And you're right sometimes seizures can be scary to see. You might find it helpful to look at our online course called 'What to do when someone has a seizure' learn.epilepsy.org.uk/what-to-do-when-someone-has-a-seizure/
      This shows you how you can help the person you are seeing. It could also be helpful to speak to a member of our helpline team on our helpline freephone 0808 800 5050.

      Kind Regards
      Rosie

    Awwww, bless her. Even though I'm not diagnosed with Epilepsy, I can't imagine how traumatic it must be for the person suffering seizures. I'm 15 years old and I know just how it feels. I would give her a hug after the seizure recovery. Cya!😎

    Always in the morning and feel like I been shot in the face until I go to bed at night. Aftermath headaches are the problem. Constantly thumping and to move my head with a migraine is like someone is twisting a knife in my skull.

    I had one SEZUIRE where i wandered into the street and my friends who have them to made a circle around me till it was over. Years before I had one and fell off the bus 🚍 and fell into the fire hitride and 911 was called and hurt my back 🔙 AND I had one of painful muscle spasms in my back and a fracture after i fell. Cindy Beck was there.

    From someone with epilepsy I can tell that the recover is defenitely not like that. We do not have oxygen in our body, your lungs can not breath, so we do not Wake up laughing, istead, we become desperate to breath so you need to calm us down and saying to calmily breath. And not eveeryone get that convulsive movements!!

    • @epilepsyaction
      @epilepsyaction  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If the seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes you need to call for an ambulance. We also recommend you call an ambulance if one seizure follows another without the person recovering in between or if they are badly injured during the seizure.
