Hey, Dan, I got a question
Will this method work on both Fuel Injection and Carburetor types of bikes?

That is a very good question and to answer it it's a bit more complicated than I would like to explain.
Here's the general consensus, If a battery is just dead But still connected to the electrical system odds are you can push start the bike with Fuel injection. Now if the battery is completely disconnected I'm gonna say it's probably 10% chance depending on the manufacturer and how they set up the electrical system a bit actually running without a battery. Overall I would say probably 70% of fuel injected bikes if the battery is just dead From being left on you can probably push start the bike without issue. If the battery's completely no good has 0 voltage and doesn't hold a charge any more even if it's connected I'm probably going to say the bike will not start. A lot of it has to do with how the electrical system is set up and wired from the Magneto or stator and whether it's going to immediately start supplying power once the engine starts to turn to the electrical components. It's also going to have a lot to do with air codes and F1 lights on most bikes we consider this a fuel injection problem light Or a dummy light saying basically there's something wrong with your fuel injection system. I think all of this being said it's gonna narrow down to the manufacturer how they set up the electrical system and whether or not your Magneto supplies power or stator instantly to the electronics from the engine turning. I probably should have addressed this in the video and I'm glad you brought it up now cause I will pin this comment but is it possible the short answer is yes the long answer is it's kind of complicated depending on the manufacturer and a Plathra of other little things like whether the batteries completely dead as a doorknob been sitting for 5 years and the bike hasn't run...

@@ScottMiller-tu3gg That is not accurate. Like I said this is going to be a very touchy subject for a lot of people but I have seen and witnessed people Push start fuel injected motorcycles even with low battery and low Ambridge if they can get the motor to turn on enough times it will generate the power needed for the electric system to kick the pulse. I'm telling you man it is very usually possible because I've seen it done a number of t**'s really gonna come down to the things that I listed above this is why I don't like having this discussion because people get argumentative. Let me give you a example my truck is feel injected even with a dead battery or no battery in the truck I can still push start my truck it's no different than a bike you just have to get the engine to turn enough time so they can generate the necessary power

Pretty common knowledge I would say for most people especially us older gentlemen that grew up with manual vehicles but I guess the youngsters still need a little lesson
