Uncles can be priceless. I still have my dad, but I've lost all my uncles. I miss them sometimes. The house is beautiful, like a treasure.

That model toilet is suppose to be vented but she didn't hook that up...
I would invest in an incinerating toilet (see Cinderella toilets on TH-cam) - no compost.

I am swoooooning over this entire story! Cole handing Shelby his handkerchief was just the sweetest gesture; I melted. Shelby reminds me sooooo very much of a darling, impish Liza Minelli....I just can't help seeing her that way. What an absolute *doll*!

Oh Shelby you sweet young girl...you should be extremely proud of all of your hard work, perseverance, and wisdom that it took to build your adorable home. Only a beautiful human being can make everything around her just as beautiful such as your home, music, jewelry, the love from your fiance, and the other wonderful connections you've made. Unfortunately, as an older wise woman I know that you don't become a beautiful and grateful soul at such a young age without suffering through pain...so sorry. I've suffered too but only wised up later in the years so I'm wonderfully impressed with you and genuinely happy for you. I wish I could have been there to help you with the tedious and difficult parts of the build. May you continue to attract more good things in your life and with creating a beautiful and full life!

The house is amazing and the fact that she bonded with her Uncle is wonderful. Some people disappoint us and are unable to give us just the basic essentials in life as parents due to their own dysfunction. Life just has a way of connecting us with those who do love and care for us unconditionally, no matter who it is!

When her fiance gave her his handkerchief and looked tenderly at her, my heart smiled wide. While she may not have been fortunate enough to have a good father, it is plain to see that her universe stepped up and mended her heart and provided her with the means by which she could build a happy life with her own two hands. What a sweet young lady. When I was young, all I had was 2 how to books, no TH-cam back then. I learned by trial and error. My strangest resource was info from inmates who had previously been trades men (I was a nurse at a prison), and phone calls to a cousin that built houses for a living. You are an inspiration, to young women.
There is nothing like an awesome Uncle! My Uncle passed 7 years ago and I think of him a lot!

I absolutely love the depth of this tiny home!! Along with the high ceiling, it makes this tiny home so very large!! The artistic design for the refrigerator front is magnificent, as well!! I think it is wonderful that she has built this herself!!

Shelby you might not have had a great dad but sweetheart he helped you out in the end and you will always be able to remember him for that generosity - with his 'help' you have built your own gorgeous Tiny House. You have made/created those personal touches with the fridge front, your little drawers, your magnificent blue shower wall, and that beautiful light fitting, so original...I could go on and name just about everything in your home. I love your kitchen, the mat on the floor, your bathroom door your fantastic bedroom...would love to see you in your many beautiful outfits. Your jewellery is gorgeous (I've run out of superlatives), do you sell it at markets or Etsy I wonder? What a wonderful landlord/friend you have letting you stay there and to let Cole use the barn, are you still there I wonder or do you intend to move on, I hope your landlord fulfils his own dream of creating a Tiny House Community there are some amazing ones to be seen and found on the internet these days. Beautiful story & home💯 Cole seems very supportive and comfortable in his own skin as Shelby explained building her home and how much gratitude she had for her friend (that built the stairs) and for her uncle. Sometimes men can feel intimidated when a woman exhibits strength, or gives praise to another man. It can poke at their ego. But Cole listened attentively and seemed genuinely happy for Shelby. Very sweet.💖
