I've never like any other phone apart from lg since lg g2 and when i did it didnt turn out to be good experience. Not saying that LG didnt make some mistakes alongside in terms of marketing department but youtubers didnt do just with LG mobiles when reviewing it. Thanks to the ones who did.

Hmm dunno , it is a fairly basic phone as far as features go , so not much current draw , it appears from the daily use there was no Bluetooth used, no location used , to my eyes it looked a pretty light days use.
I'd give it as a brand new phone just an ok for the battery.
I'd give the camera as easily better than the v60 and better than the OnePlus ,
Trailing behind the phone a tad though.
How did it turn out? Just curious. Choosing a gift for a friend and confused between 4a, Nord, Moto Edge and Velvet. Any suggestions?
A couple things that'd have been nice (that I don't see a lot of people do in camera tests) is a night sky test to see how well the night vision can get stars in the sky and a definition zoom test to see how good the detail is when zoomed in.

Beautiful phone, but as a fan of LG smartphones I'm a bit disappointed in the camera performance and LG's pricing as well. They're really missing a good opportunity to price aggressively, especially when the the Galaxy A71 5G seems to offer a bit more value for less.

The LG Velvet has such impressive name and design. OLED Screen and USB-C cable speaks excellent security. Its slim design is easy on hand for anyone regardless of gender and age. As time progressed smart phones at its solid-state design got stronger and each user have gotten more familiar to their phone.

I couldn't help but notice that the sky in a lot of the LG Velvet photos was a bit on the green side, so LG need to do something about the tint settings in the processing stage. I know that you can always fix that in post, but you shouldn't have to. Other than that, I think that its camera is pretty good.

What I like about LG it is that it is the best midrange phone in my country. We don't have Xiaomi and One plus in Canada.
You can purchase OnePlus phones in Canada. If not in person in the store, you can find their phones on the website.

These are $20/month on Verizon right now, but their not even selling the 2nd screen for it. I have an aging LG G7 ThinQ I'm hoping makes it to spring time as I'll be able to afford more than. Think this is about cheap as I'll go as far as a phone. Still on the fence about the Velvet but I believe it's better than a Samsung Galaxy A71 5G or A51 5G.

What is the front facing selfie-cam 4k video like. Does it have af and stabilisation.
How do you get the quality to stay at 48mp instead of the lower quality setting. Mine keeps switching back to 12 MP.
The ultra wide and zoomed pictures are oversharpened, I can't unnotice it. The phone iyself looks great but I'm still not a fan of their UI.
Got mine yesterday and the sales person was like why a LG? I told her that they basically started the higher screen to body ratio a long time ago. The G2 was way ahead of the pack wrt design and display. Then I told her look at the specs on this compared to what you pay, she didnt get it.

The LG Velvet is such a gorgeous phone. Been debating if I'd go with Velvet or V60 but seems like the V60 is much more powerful for a similar price. Better audio quality and better processor. But the gorgeous design has me on edge haha, I love having beautiful tech.
I'm a Note 9 user and have been disappointed with Samsung with their new phones. Gotten too pricey and with too many compromises. Although my Note 9 is still great, T-Mobile has a great deal half off with trade in. I'm very interested in the dual screen capabilities and although I'm just a light gamer and I mostly use my phone for emulators I'm worried that the Velvet won't hold up to it. The lack of updates also worry me a little. But I might cave once I see it in person!
i think look wise Lg velvet looks better than any other phone right now.and the low light camera is seems to be of lg v60 & one plus 8 looks better than others.and day time photos all looks the same.
How is the antenna 📶 reception in a bad area coverage in comparison with a Huawei or Samsung?

Have you tried the A71 5g? Trying to decide between the velvet and A71 5g. Have a 9s, but cracked screen and repair cost was high. Due an upgrade on at&t, and really don't need a flagship. I do listen to alot of music and take some pictures. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I'd say the pixel camera and the UI is better frankly, otherwise the battery life and "style" of the Velvet is better 🤷♂️

Really impressive, how camera differences are shrinking. In fact it becomes a personal gusto thingie.
Ahh by the way - if you are a iOS fan (or - iOS disabled, since they got heavy difficulties in using Android ergonomy), you frankly can pay more than twice of this piece of cake just to say 'I got a iPhone', sure.
But your photos and videos won't get better. Even at night.
