      @@ILoveCaterpillars If you are in Java like me you probably have to dig under the first trap door up to the last trap door (leave that one block at the end) and start your water in the block under the first trap door.It should flow correctly after that. Hey chapman. Loved the vid (mostly for the crop farm since i know how to do the others) because i haven't seen that design yet.
    There is however a tiny problem with the design - on the way out of the farm there is a single dry block (two blocks from the center towards the "mouth" of the farm where the trap door is)
    During my initial test I got 64 out of 76 planted. Now, granted - when you actually wait for the crops to grow losing that little is inconsequential especially taking into consideration the ease of use and time saved.
    Just wanted to let you know. I'll probably put down some ice on that block =)
    I really REALLY love this farm and I will probably use it again in my survival worlds. I made it and put a trap door to serve as a bridge because i prefer to get my boots dirty but other than that it's the same design.

    2. Then make stairs going up inside the square
    3. Get 20 sheep inside the square

    4. Shear the sheep not inside, but top of the square.
    5. Put water on the corner and then collect the wool on the opposite side of the corner.

    @Lokey1100 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

    I did try the crop farm on bedrock edition for PS4 and it didn’t work, once you try and put the trapdoor in the centre to wash your crops out to the edges, it just stays in the hole you made, and if you follow the instructions to the tee, the water just runs straight out if you put it in the centre with just a slab on one face, the trapdoors must work differently on Java to bedrock.

      U can also just manually place the water in the water bucket down and collect it once the crops flown to the perimeter.

      @@abrahamlopez1879 or use a dispenser, but that counts as redstone i suppose. but then again, i count a lever as a redstone item so w/e. A totally non redstone way to do it would be to make the farm as explained, but directly under the water source block, place a temp block to retain the water. When ready to harvest break that block. when everything has washed into the canals, replace it. i usually always have a dirt block on me, but i don't always carry a pail of water.

    So there is this stuck point on the crop farm of some items after harvesting crops at the first trapdoor, there seems to be no way around it, tried any different combinations, but at this design of a farm, there is like ~15% loss of harvest. Yet, it’s great as it is semi automatic farm. 👌🏼
