    I almost got the road king. It had dealer installed fat bar ape hangers 14 inch. Looked and felt amazing. So much that I had them installed on my 21 SGS

      I’m a big fan of the Road King. What a great bike! A buddy of mine has 14s on his Road Glide and they look DOPE! Thank you for watching Sam!!

    I use to have a 2016 RKS and you’re right. It is a very smooth ride. Really enjoyed putting 20k miles until I traded it for my 2019 RGS. Deuces ✌🏼

      Yeah, my Road King was good to me and it was the perfect first H-D for me too. Thanks for watching sir. Much appreciated!

      I finally got home and had a few dry days. Just washed all the Tazewell off my bike late yesterday afternoon. Looking forward to next time!

    I almost bought a 2021 RKS just like the one you are on, but then found the like new 2019 that I bought. I had a 2007 with the 96 in it, and the power upgrade was definitely noticeable to the 114. I absolutely love the Road King and would highly recommend anyone looking for a stripped down bagger, good to pull the windshield off and cruise around town, or to throw one on and go for 1000s of miles!

      @TyFromTennessee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a great point. I loved my detachable windshield on my 18 Road King. Be safe out there and thanks for watching!

    Man I’m so jealous of your route for the demo days. Wait a couple weeks to you see how boring the KC demo ride was. Great video though Ty. That hill assist is pretty swanky. Here I am, the anti tech guy complimenting technology nooooooooo

    • @TyFromTennessee
      @TyFromTennessee  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      LOL. Was the route that bad? I'm looking forward to seeing your Demo Days videos. Thanks man!

    I love that Road King. Also looking at a Road Glide standard. Its a 107. Can not decide, does the motor size make a difference? I can decide. Love the Naked look.

    • @TyFromTennessee
      @TyFromTennessee  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can tell a slight difference between the M8 107 and the 114, but I don't think it is a huge difference. This Road King was a lot of fun to ride. Thank you very much for watching!

    • @TinyDragon
      @TinyDragon 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      touring frame needs the 114, imo. you get that little extra edge of torque in each gear

  • @RobinDaelman
    @RobinDaelman 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thx for the video. What I heard is that the RK Standard is more comfortable then the Special based on the tech specs which makes it a difference on the long run. Wdyt?

      It's been a while since I was able to ride that Road King so my memory is a little fuzzy. I do remember that model being super easy to ride and very smooth. I used to own a 2018 Road King and they are exceptional motorcycles. Thank you very much for watching!

    My wifes 2012 Buick Regal GS (yes it is a 6 speed) has that hill assist. Freaked me out the first time it didn't roll back. I love the Road King as well but I would still change the bars 😂.

    • @TyFromTennessee
      @TyFromTennessee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My Silverado has it too. I guess H-D is late to the game with hill assist, but I think it's a really cool feature. Thanks for watching Rusty!

    At least it didn't rain on you lol. Sounds like the demo ride went well. Hill assist is a very very useful thing that people don't realize they need.

    I have my 2021 road king special... it's a good bike, but you have to make it fit you. The handlebars suck, the seat is hard as fuck, and no highwaybars.. plus no windshield.
