Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising a child prodigy - his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) - in a coastal town in Florida. Frank’s plans for a normal school life for Mary are foiled when the seven year old’s mathematical abilities come to the attention of Frank’s formidable mother Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan) whose plans for her granddaughter threaten to separate Frank and Mary. Octavia Spencer plays Roberta, Frank and Mary’s landlady and best friend. Jenny Slate is Mary’s teacher, Bonnie, a young woman whose concern for her student develops into a connection with her uncle as well.

This is a beautiful film. And, I understand that Chris Evans & Mckenna Grace are the stars in the film. But, Jenny Slate is underestimated in what she brings to the film. And, Octivia Spencer always adds heart to the films she is in. And, I have to obviously mention Lindsay Duncan. A great cast.

I saw this in my recommended and decided to watch it cause I saw Chris Evans, and plus I've seen these two in interviews, and I was curious what movie they were in. Then I go and watch the actual movie. I finish it and I'm like, "That was totally worth it, I loved it." And now here I am, back where I began. Such a great movie, Chris and McKenna did an amazing job. They are so cute together. Anyways, have a fantabulous day.
