I think the blue ring in Spirits of Hell basically lets your character survive regardless of circumstance, but it will make you play as him in the next scenario.

The first video 'Sonic' was actually the origin for Sally.EXE. The person who wrote Sally.EXE's creepypasta actually ripped off a video by Chinelin in 2011, but Chinelin deleted their account. You can look up 'Chinelin Sonic' and find the video that inspired Sally.EXE. In the comments, the person who made the Sally.EXE game based off the creepypasta was so disappointed about the blatant plagiarism that they contemplated removing the game.

It's kind of associated as Sonic.Exe's 'voice' nowadays because of what the guy above me said; it was used in the original.
Krystle Taylor used in the original or not, its still really overused and annoying. saying that it was used in the first one, doesn’t change that.

One of the things that many people underestimate in horror is hope. It's one of the reasons why the original Sonic.exe isn't that scary. If you have the tiniest amount of hope you might win against all odds, things get really scary. But if, say, you're getting chased on a flat surface by a guy that is clearly faster than you with no way of defending yourself, you go "what is even the point of trying?" and it's not scary anymore. That's what the few good exe games do right: you can actually win. It's really hard, and if you mess up, you mess up, but there is hope. The enemy is OP, but can be beaten. And that is scary.
I knew what I heard in the background music when you were playing that one 3D Sonic Exe game,from being a big fnaf fan and knowing some fangames, IvanG used a clip of that music to put on the menu of his first game of the series,Jolly.

I would love to see SpaceHamster take a look at some newer Sonic.exe reboots.
A good example of an actually well made exe game is Sonic.EXE PC Port (which I believe is still a beta.) It basically spins off the Sonic.EXE formula except it's much more polished, with new animations and actual gameplay that doesn't just make it a corridor simulator.
