Well done! Best arrangement on TH-cam for solo piano absolutely without question.

I took off my headphones and had my wife stop what she was doing to hear and watch this. Starting at 2 minutes in, it’s as if you have 4 hands. As a player myself, I’m in complete envy of your ability to change the melody so seamlessly from right to left to keep the orchestration going. Wow wow wow. BRAVO!!!

I heard the first one a few years ago and I think they’re both different and unique from each other in its own way and it’s fun to experience the different sounds and tones that make up the same song.
I do! I have a piano and an organ in my home and I enjoy playing both. I practice all kinds of arrangements on piano and then hymns on the organ. I play the organ for the congregation at my church house on Sunday. 😊

Thanks! I honestly first arranged this over 20 years ago and recorded an early version of it 3 years ago before this version. So it's hard to answer. Most arrangements are mostly complete within a few days, but I can take a number of weeks tweaking them to make them work better
Fair enough. I mostly wanted to redo it because the video and audio quality of the older video was pretty awful. In the process I made some changes to a few sections.

Meh, too focused on being flashy and trying to making it sound "epic" means he's missing putting the right emphasis and accent on the melodic line. Makes it sound like despite the fullness of sound he's going for, that there's still bits missing. Got bored after a minute.
Hi Steve, thanks for the feedback. It's true - I sometimes (probably usually) focus too much on making it epic and a challenge for myself that I'm unable to play it as smooth as I'd like and it loses some musicality. Appreciate the comment
