- One of the most epic movie themes of all time, the Main Theme from Superman (1978) composed by John Williams. I wanted to rewrite and re-record this with my new piano and mics. It's also one of the first movie themes I ever tried arranging when I was a kid.

It's good, perhaps the most technically complex interpretation and endeavours to pack a lot of orchestration into the piano but most accurate, no. That honor goes to MrPianoSolo from 14 years ago.

That was absolutely incredible!!!! What an arrangement. I’m in awe. John Williams is a galactic treasure and you were able to get the entire orchestration onto the piano. I took off my headphones and had my wife stop what she was doing to hear and watch this. Starting at 2 minutes in, it’s as if you have 4 hands. As a player myself, I’m in complete envy of your ability to change the melody so seamlessly from right to left to keep the orchestration going. Wow wow wow. BRAVO!!!

The pianOravle loves this.... All he can possibly give you as a gift for such remarkable rendition is that the bassline on the rubato in the intro goes from 1 to the 4th, then the 5th, & actually stays on the 5th until the top of the crescendo... 😉 #bravo #amazing

@scottwainman9911 I did Jurassic Park a couple of years ago with my old equipment, but am currently working on a redo so that one should hopefully be done in a month or so.
The Star Wars ones: I have a cover The Rebel Fleet if you search my channel. I never wanted to do the main theme or imperial March because Jarrod Radnich has a Star Wars piano suite that is so good, that I could never compare to that

I love both of the piano versions on this channel of Superman’s theme and the feeling I get when listening to them. I heard the first one a few years ago and I think they’re both different and unique from each other in its own way and it’s fun to experience the different sounds and tones that make up the same song.

I do! I have a piano and an organ in my home and I enjoy playing both. I practice all kinds of arrangements on piano and then hymns on the organ. I play the organ for the congregation at my church house on Sunday. 😊

This is an absolutely brilliant arrangement. How long did it take to arrange?
Thanks! I honestly first arranged this over 20 years ago and recorded an early version of it 3 years ago before this version. So it's hard to answer. Most arrangements are mostly complete within a few days, but I can take a number of weeks tweaking them to make them work better

Fair enough. I mostly wanted to redo it because the video and audio quality of the older video was pretty awful. In the process I made some changes to a few sections.

@@MattCraigPiano also remember the bars are off cos the guy who made this has no sense of arrangement cos he misses out a few bars at random times so u may need to correct the pattern, you will know what i mean when i listen to it all.
