Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Amen. It’s also the most accurate and trustworthy. There are many verses taken out of modern versions. Not to the fault of the translators, but because they used bad manuscripts.
The KJV is from the Byzantine line. It's based on the textus receptus. Translated in the 10th century. Earlier manuscripts are presumably more accurate as they reflect absence of the later additions(corruptions) of the Byzantine. Both are corrupted but the Byzantine line more so it would seem. Most of the corruptions are concerning the false virgin birth and Trinity doctrine
This is very good and as a Christian I m in support. However...your post has omitted a key factor I feel. That the Lord instructed Joshua also take the land before them . How was this done ? Brutally in our eyes perhaps but with the Father's instruction. This is my understanding. The old Testament is often brutal as the Hebrews had to fight to establish or defend itself and .Joshua like David were fighters ordained by God in righteousness. This is my understanding.

We are saved by faith. Works are a natural consequence of a regenerated heart. Good works pre-existed that we would "walk in them".
