    Beautiful work. I think I will try to customize my twill tape by adding some of my decorative stitches in matching colors to tie it together.

    Thank you, this is such a nice design. I live on the coast of California and live in hoodies year round. I’m not a fan of the ones without zippers, I feel like they are choking me. This is going to be wonderful ❤

    Such a terrific design and your fabric choice is fabulous! Great video showing construction. Can I ask if when you sewed the seams on the knit fabric using your sewing machine if you used a zig zag stitch at any time or just straight stitch? I've heard of the new Maraflex thread and wondered if you've tried that? Thanks Karina xx

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t have access to specially threads here in Brazil so it’s just regular thread. I use a narrow zigzag that looks almost like a straight stitch.

    I'm excited about this pattern. My Question is about the bust. I am petite height and need the full bust size. But I usually lower the bust an inch. Will I need to do this or is it even possible without messing up the pocket, etc.?

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  ปีที่แล้ว

      Woven fitted styles need a super accurate fit and that’s when I’d be super accurate about the bust point. This jacket is looser, made for knits and there’s no tight fitting princess seams. The original full bust option was ok without modification because the shaping comes from the armhole above the bust. No need to drop anything.

  • @jebobarr4091
    @jebobarr4091 ปีที่แล้ว

    The jacket is beautiful and I loved your twill stay tape solution. Could narrow ribbon be used as well?

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think ribbon is not too stable and it can fray on the edges over time. I wouldn’t use it.

    Thanks for this awesome video. How do you remove the metal zipper teeth? I struggle with that.

    • @nozztozz
      @nozztozz ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. I kept looking for that in the video. Would like to see

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles

      I have a small pair of pliers and take them one by one. Metal teeth come out easy. Plastic ones are very hard to remove.

    • @kellymartin1176
      @kellymartin1176 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like I need patience. I’ll try small pliers 🙂
